I have absolutely never said that though anyone with a few hundred K could manipulate his or many other very non liquid markets but Ive never said Mark's is manipulated. That said in two weeks I could move Mark's market 25-50% if I wanted to do so and maybe well more. When the total sales for 2-3 weeks are maybe $50-100k it doesnt take much to change a market - if you don't believe that then well oh well.
I did say I was told there are fake prints going around and I had some images of two emailed to me by a friend warning me. I wasn't involved and don't care. If you don't believe that then that is absolutely fine. there are a lot of fake images of many artists. Mark's are fairly simple with no COAs and for a long time no gallery so I dont know why it would be surprising that someone would make fakes??? But you can believe whatever you want. I am sorry for letting people know to be careful online. Don't be careful. Don't use G&S or a credit card. Go get ripped off. I could care less.
And on the $6500 - I was right. It was no a normal price. It was a charity auction. Thus the actual price paid if the person was in the US with a decent tax bracket was $2300-4000. Thanks for playing
