Why is shipping so expensive everywhere? Even for cheap stuff seeing shipping prices of 60 pounds for a 30 pound item is crazy.

For those interested and wondering, Stowe says on Instagram that the prints will be available for around a week and will not be numbered.

I love the work of Sr. Pomet and really like these mini prints (both images and price), but quite disappointed that they wont be numbered ......should be a very easy and simple thing to do given that they are only available for a short time.

I think one of the reasons for the shipping cost is that they aren't just shipping flat, but in a box. The added dimensions of the box would no doubt increase the cost. But why do they need to ship in a box? Additionally the depth of the box shown in posts is pretty deep for one print, let alone ordering a complete set. I wonder if the box will be filled with something to prevent the print(s) held in the box from flopping around inside of it while in transit.

Don't use DHL.  I ship for a lot of artists and I don't use them for UK shipping.  Royal Mail and UPS work out far cheaper.  For Europe too.  I use DHL for shipping outside Europe where they work out much better.

Royal Mail are useless and UPS have damaged and lost so many works they are not to be trusted. It’s better paying a bit extra with peace of mind. I’d highly recommend them.

I agree regarding UPS and the damages/issues they have caused me both domestically (US based) and internationally. I stay clear of them every chance I can.

Its funny how people have different experiences.  I've sent out over a thousand UK shipments with UPS/RM over the last year and have had very few issues.  I must admit that the UPS claim system if you do need to use it is horrendous though.  The RM 24/48 services seem to work fine for me though.

Good to get some clarification. Given the steps taken to make sure the print is safe I can accept a higher shipping price. It’s the ones shipping out tubes taking liberties.

Thank you. I did take a look at the sketches Stowe had but the one I was after sold before I could cart it. Appreciate the help!

I purchased The Dualists and it arrived yesterday. Saw the original on here a while ago and thought it was great so I had to get one.

I too went for The Dualists/Cain & Abel, love the detail of the light sabers reflecting off of their clothing.
I nice vintage frame for this one and up on the wall it goes.

Nice idea. I’m not a huge fan of all the images but nevertheless grouping of images do look nice. Would love to see once done. 👌🏻

It was a great print! I have the collectors edition, picked this one up for a good friends Bday, as it was always his favorite piece. Had it framed and it came out great thanks to PFG.
