Julian Opie Limited Edition Catalogue and Lenticular Release, by ling on Nov 27, 2018 13:33:15 GMT 1, Anyone have info on spec / framer typically used / recommended by the artist for lenticulars? I understand framers preference is aluminium tray frame to the edge but would be good to know the specifics.
I have contacted the Opie studio direct but no response.

Julian Opie Limited Edition Catalogue and Lenticular Release, by expresspost on Nov 28, 2018 9:31:34 GMT 1, I don't think any of his lenticulars are signed directly. From memory, I think he signs a label which is attached to the back of the frame. I guess the signed book which acknowledges the lenticular print acts as a proxy for the label.

Julian Opie Limited Edition Catalogue and Lenticular Release, by john1539 on Nov 28, 2018 10:21:46 GMT 1, Yes, usually Julian signs and numbers a label affixed to the reverse of print which is also framed by the artist. I do think Julian Opie should have also signed such label for this new edition so once you have your lenticular framed you can put this label.

It’s not very thick, but that’s expected of a poster. And yes, the packing is superb for a poster.

Julian Opie Limited Edition Catalogue and Lenticular Release, by someonesbrain on Nov 28, 2018 22:03:49 GMT 1,
The prize is reasonable, that's true. Did anyone order the book? I just tried ... do they really charge 99 dollars for international shipping (to Europe)? Or is there a cheaper way to get the catalogue?
