Hopefully if there are fakes they will be as obvious as the above...

The price tag is still on the back of the postcard although it’s faded (but you can still make out the contents for proof of authenticity). It’s been stored in the museum’s paper bag (this and the receipt are not included in this sale but I could photostat a copy of the receipt) since I bought it in 2019 and it has never displayed.

u could say it gives the piece some authenticity in today’s market u just never know so i would prefer with the sticker on

I bought a few of these and thankfully I left all the price labels on - this was partly laziness on my part but now serves as additional provenance. I also have the purchase email that I can forward on. Cheers :-)

Taking the stickers off was the best thing to do, I did (kept them separate) and a friend didn't, he removed one recently and its left a glue stain.

It's a problem you dont have. I know which I'd prefer, can't imagine many people wanting to frame/display them with the price tag on.

100% agree on this. Removed mine but suspect I just binned them. Based on the materials used on these, plus the relative affordability can’t see them being prone to easy faking. More important to have the paperwork I’d think. Think trying to peel off the price sticker now is guaranteed to leave an unwanted mark, and I wouldn’t use any sort of solvent remover on wood - it will end up an even bigger mess!
