Pejac โข A Forest Print, by Deleted on Jul 19, 2018 17:04:10 GMT 1, Greedy people are easy to rip off. Letโs be honest, nobody is really buying this stuff because the โartโ is good. Itโs like drawings peddled to tourists in popular cities. Overly earnest, sentimental rubbish. Everyone is pumping and dumping until the merry go round stops. After that, the stuff will be worthless.
I disagree a little
I think there are some people that like his art and have framed it and its on the wall. They will want more from the same artist. You get some that are completists and they will unfortunately pay over the odds to get the new releases
Others are as you say in it to make some money
same as most other artists on here.
No one knows what will happen, we are all thickos . (except you love)

Pejac โข A Forest Print, by Auropelli on Jul 23, 2018 22:10:53 GMT 1, what is strange is that the entire preview night was made of forum members. Parisians didnt have a clue who pejac was so even those visiting for the rest of the week probably came from the forum. I must know more than 100 people that visited that show and bought a lottery ticket. Multiple lottery tickets. Yet i dont know anyone that actually won!!! Has anyone actually got a drawing??? Ok let me ask; has anyone actually got a drawing / print / other original work, that isnt able to influence (con) others into thinking they need to buy no matter what the price. It seems to me that Max has again ensured prints and drawings have gone to the suck - as**es. Its a dangerous game when only a select few are able to buy his work yet ffor everyone else its impossible to get work from an artist that hasnt actually achieved very much Its no exageration to say he is unknown outside of this forum, the only ones propping up his market are the elite few still throwing money at him because they believe they have the monopoly on his secondary market. im not a framer, im not a plum with more money than sense. I was a genuine fan and made the effort to see the 'non - selling' show in Venice (no free sherbet dabs for guessing who bought those). i made the effort to see the Paris show and bought 5 lottery ticketsand suprisngly still have nothing. If i am happy to pay ยฃ5k i can buy a print from any one of the franchishee's. Why should i line the pockets of someone else just because they are up Max's a@@rse. Ironically the same game that managed Dran in the early days when the select few banked as much Dran as they could. Step outside the forum and ask if anyone and ask if anyone has heard of Pejac. The Paris show, the print, the lottery, the Venice show, it stink of market manipulation. And now everyone is hyping Crypta Djan just to suck up to Max, seriously take a step back and open your eyes. F@@@k Pejac and F@@k Suben Art Managmenti wont waste another ยฃ20 trying to get an artist that has no CV , let alone lining the pockets of the elite (read: ar@@se kissers) granted access to his work for the sole intention of doubling or trippling their money and creating false hype
For me its just an clever way to create an artist hype. Everybody know that a Pejac Print can be sold for about 5k. So if you sell them for just 25% of course everybody goes crazy to get one. Real collectors who won one are very lucky to get it that cheap, and trade-players will make an good anf fast proffit. Those who didnโt won have had even some exciting days waiting for the result of the lottery, and that for only 20โฌ. So for me sounds like an good deal for everybody...

Yeah I would disagree with your post, you would have had to spend close to 500โฌ to get to Paris, spend the day/evening there in order to enter the lottery, unless like many on here, they got a sucker to do that for them.
I already know of prominent 2 forum members who are already trying to flip their new print, discreetly!!

Pejac โข A Forest Print, by pdjones512 on Jul 24, 2018 9:15:32 GMT 1, (Before I begin this rant, Iโm not the guy above) I asked Max to buy a Pejac for 2 years. Every time he โnoted my interest.โ He finally sends me a catalog for the Paris show and I reply with dozens of pieces Iโd be willing to buy. What do I get in return? โSorry sold out.โ He knows every piece would sell, why send the catalog to 300+ people for 40 pieces of art? F*ck that guy. He just manipulates the market to create hype and jack up prices for an artist nobody has ever heard of outside of here. Best thing I ever did was trade a Pejac I bought on secondary market for a real artist print; Marc Chagall. i had an identical experience for what its worth

Pejac โข A Forest Print, by Express Post on Jul 24, 2018 9:50:42 GMT 1, Seen this before. Forum is the only market. Members buy and hodl and try to palm off to the next person.
Pejac not known outside this forum, so his exposure is limited. Hasn't got a gallery that goes to Art Basel, so the big collectors or curators will never see it. And because of that his work will never be legitimised.
Also you dont see the important collectors flex his work. Because let's face it, Javelin Block or Midoustache aren't exactly movers or shakers at Art Basel or Frieze.
And lastly, not even Phillips, the auction house bottom feeder will touch his stuff.
It's a house of cards.

your post sounds quite bitter but also inconsequential/childish:
at the end of your rant you are bashing the artist (โ...artist nobody ever has heard of outiside of here.โ), although for the last two years you have been getting on maxโs nerves and on top wanted to buy/liked 12 different pieces from the waterline show...
so do you like pejacโs art or not (since paris)?

Of course I liked* his work. So much so that I was willing to overlook the fact that heโs an unknown, overhyped, Ikea artist and pay for his clever images. But if Max and Pejac want to run a circus of bullsh*t I canโt support that, and will steer clear. Or maybe Iโll wait til his bubble bursts (read: Miscallef) and pick up some prints for below retail.

Pejac โข A Forest Print, by Auropelli on Jul 24, 2018 14:15:33 GMT 1, Well, having ART as a hobby traveling, visiting shows, meeting people, talk and think about art, trying to get an picture, winning and loosing is part of the game. Crying about the trip money nobody should do. Its always part of the story and part of the hobby, and over all it is fun. Better than sitting at home and surving on the tablet. Life is outside. Getting the art- sometimes you win, sometimes you loose. For me Pejac and Max does a great job trying to make the People crazy about the originals and also crazy about getting even a print like the A Forest. And that Pejac is an very big talent and the Pictures are great we don't need to talk about. The only thing I wondering ist that they don't work together with an PR-Agent who keeps care that also regional and international newspapers and other Art Forums will write about the shows. After the Paris show I was surprised that no newspaper wrote about....

Pejac โข A Forest Print, by Express Post on Jul 24, 2018 14:33:04 GMT 1, Lots of hodlers on here too.
Seen this before. Buy and hodl... someone has been spending too much time on crypto forums

Pejac โข A Forest Print, by Dojo the Dog on Jul 24, 2018 17:12:58 GMT 1, what is strange is that the entire preview night was made of forum members. F@@@k Pejac and F@@k Suben Art Managmenti wont waste another ยฃ20 trying to get an artist that has no CV , let alone lining the pockets of the elite (read: ar@@se kissers) granted access to his work for the sole intention of doubling or trippling their money and creating false hype Picked up a drawing. Never managed to get a print on release in the past and was unlucky on the lotto. I've bought serval prints after market as i've always missed out on the release ones.
Not sure how the lottery was worked out but i know i had never met Max before the show in Paris and ended up with a OG confirmed before meeting him.
I'm saying some people were lucky enough to pick something up that didn't have connections to Max previously. I think with demand for his work there was always going to be a lot of disappointed people and a few lucky ones.

Pejac โข A Forest Print, by mehor on Jul 25, 2018 8:59:35 GMT 1, I also know a few people who won a print or a drawing without any affiliation with Max other than visiting the London and Paris shows.
BTW, how can prices be disputed. if people pay certain prices, I would assume that they were not forced to pay. Supply and Demand at its finest....

Pejac โข A Forest Print, by mushi on Jul 25, 2018 10:16:04 GMT 1, Thing is we all know there is something wrong with this Pejac story. Some people deny it to protect their investment, some people are trying to understand what's happening. This fire up discussions, hence the number of views.
