These are not for me and I'm glad I managed to get a Heni edition, though these would have made a nice consolation prize if I didn't. I prefer H5-2 the most.

That being said, I've confirmed my attendance to the private view - anyone else coming along?

Strange that Hirst has another print release so soon after his previous Heni editions. I wonder if his recent flop in Venice has anything to do with this.

IMO not as nice as the Serpentine ones. The depth and texture of those feel like a movement forward from the spot paintings that these lack. Smaller edition a bigger size and signed. But if you didn't manage to get one of those these are cool, and probably much easier to buy. Having said that if they aren't signed its an easy pass.

You’re probably right, I don’t think they even plan to sell these out on the 10th since they have a general release later on.

I don’t know. I mean the two styles are vastly different. This one could be worth a lot more or the first release could be worth a lot more. I don’t think one has an effect on the other. Also first release was edition of 75.

Agreed, plus there was a quite long break between h2/h3 and h4 releases. And h2 and h3 look more like a power point slide than a piece of art.

The sheer amount he releases really reminds me of Warhol. Even when he is gone someday, the amount of work out there will never reach the potential it could have. I really do like all of these releases. And they're priced moderately it seems. Some of these new works seem like a nice deal for anyone who liked previous releases with a little tweak. Just don't see them appreciating overnight or anytime soon. Could be wrong...

Perhaps they were priced moderately knowing that all of them would be released in short window.
