There's still a good chance. Quite sure some people implemented "apply now, decide later" strategy and some of them won't pay. And I have to agree with posterbob that the 5 days limit is not really enforced. A month is a stretch maybe, but getting a few day extension should not be a problem.

The big statues made by craftspeople leave me cold. At least Henry Moore made his own macquets.
The spin paintings and paint on skulls, just gimmicky.
His own by his hand paintings amateurish and desperate.
The butterflies not for me, it's Victorian tea trays on a big scale by assistants.
So basically no, none of his artistic efforts float my boat.
I'm sure Hirst is a decent bloke and don't blame him creating a marketing opportunity thanks to uncle Saatchi and his media and money contacts.

I understand and find myself pondering the same. But with that said my wife really wanted a butterfly print. We ended up getting the print Elation. It is extremely nice and beyond my expectations. Its my only Hirst but probably one of my favorite pieces.
