Sorry I’m not understanding what the problem is? Someone is offering a signed GWB for a decent price but are you saying it should be pumped up so it meets your price expectations. No pleasing some people. GLWS to the OP

 Actually it does bring confusion, owners of GWBs are wondering what happened to the price and it implies it's the current value of a regular main signed ed150 GWB which it isnt. Buyers will be thinking all signed GWB are £185k, they're not.
You'd may be surprised by how many Banksy collectors are on the forum or glance at it.
No great drama, it's a signed ed600, unsigned is 600, signed is 150, likely misnumbered at the time. It's an anomaly hence the opportunity to buy it for reduced price to the regular.
Part of the B story, misnumbering, double numbers etc.
It wont appeal to some but it is a good buy for those that understand the market and are fairly common with B.
Easier just to explain that at the offset I would have thought or leave out the price and explain to interested parties.
It's a bit misleading.

Would an error in numbering really account for a £40k ish mark down? I've bought and sold a few Banksy prints throughout the years with duplicate numbering etc and it never affected the price of them.

As for the pricing , it is a well priced Banksy GWB signed as explained by an email from PC . Why anyone thinks this would lead to a £40k discount ? I do not know.

Good luck with the sale OP! Well priced, and surely will not last long if it was indeed severly underpriced. A lot of people can't come in terms with where the markets are at currently, and understandable so - these have dropped almost ~300k in value since their peak and that is indeed a hard pill to swallow for anyone who bought during the frenzy. Mind you, this print is still selling for double compared to the 2017-2018 price levels, which is a lot healthier than the 500% jump seen during the peak covid era. Many artists may never recover to those crazy price levels, but Banksy certainly should with due time. Any seller who is moving art in this environment is well aware of how important it is to rightly price your item to get any serious interest / buyers. Buyers are proceeding with significantly more caution than before.

This is actually fairly in line with to slightly below market. The last 3 sold at auction the sellers took home 150, 170 and 190. So selling at 185k would be quite good for the seller.

Now of course with auction fees those went for more like 230-240 but I think its safe to say when paying 200k that most people will pay 10-15% more for the security of an auction house. Are you gonna PayPal $200K? Good luck.

So this might be $10k below market if the market hasn't changed at all. If it was 50k below it would be long gone. It's not 50k below. There is an amount that having a major auction house brings into account for security. DUH

Laughable people on here are still trying to talk up Banksy’s market. I was offered a decent signed Banksy print recently for under £25k and turned it down. This market will take years to recover and not to the ridiculous figures people once bought and sold. This is fairly priced for this market.
