I suspect most dealers / galleries have / had their own personal accounts anyhow. A few years back i sold an Invader to whom i thought was just an ordinary member and it turned out it was the bloke from Dope Gallery. I asked why he didnt show up as a gallery on the forum and he said he does but this was his personal account, here’s me “oh thats ok then” as smoke rings wafted up my back passage.

One well known dealer has more accounts than he knows what to do with and Im sure he ends up arguing with himself.

Assume that everyone you're dealing with is a dealer. That is, never sell something for a lower-than-market price because they're just making money off of you.

I don't really sell anything here anymore. I sold quite a lot back in the day and what do you know, some of them got sold on straight away.

I don't see any problem selling to dealers. There are lots of them, some are great and very eady to deal with. They have clientele, you don't, and they offer a service. All I'm saying is don't sell yourself short.

I sold my Nola through James at Prescription Art a few years ago and and again with my HC yesterday. He’s incredibly easy to deal with and makes a real effort to get the best price possible. The transactions were completely seamless so will continue to use him for future sales. Really couldn’t recommend him enough if you’re looking to sell.

It certainly would be strange to see such a valuable piece on eBay rather than an auction house.

why only a 7 day auction? It doesn't give a buyer enough time to check with Pest. That's the only way to be sure of the legitimacy and even then doesn't guarantee that the seller is going to send the same print as the one shown.

Also the COA is taken with a different dpi, which might not mean anything, but it could mean it's been harvested from a different source than the sellers own camera.

Proceed with caution. Seller first had a signed and framed GWB up as the only image, then cancelled listing and relisted with an image of an unsigned and unframed print. They were quick to respond to questions but told me they wanted £200k, so clearly giving different people different amounts.

The seller sells mostly books, would be mad if he/she bought a haul of second hand books to resell and that was inside one of them for safe keeping (by the original owner) and there trying to get rid of it quickly.
