If you look at the picture of the stamp, it looks like there isn't a matte. That makes me wonder if it is dry mounted (I also haven't heard back from the seller about this issue).

When trying to file a claim with DHL (or UPS), make the picture look as well-packed as possible (even if it wasn't). Both of those try to put the blame on the shipper saying the piece wasn't properly secured. FedEx doesn't offer protection against framed works so it's worthless filing a claim with them.

I don't think that DHL has a leg to stand on...With the tube it was sent in, it would have taken about a 40 lb impact to make the dent. Also, the print was wrapped in bubble wrap inside the tube.

The main problem that I have found is proving the value. We declared the value to be 1500GBP, but I paid less so they will only refund what you can prove was spent.

Holy crap. GWB signed, now my mac has packed up at home and the fiewall on ebay and proxy is at work, has any of these come available on ebay in months, maybe years?

I would expect a christ with shopping type amount. Well over £10K, but what do I know, get it auctioned. Also good luck with the business, always hard and sacrifices sometimes have to be made.
