President’s Day /// NEW Mr. Brainwash , by artfan2011 on Feb 20, 2018 8:18:09 GMT 1, I wonder why Mr Brainwash is so dead against anyone but Americans buying his stuff? Random middle of the night drops time and time again - luckily these are shockingly bad, but one day he will drop something worth having which I'll miss out on due to his stupid release schedules

Do you think he actually releases all of them or a small batch which then sell out. Who buys this stuff??

President’s Day /// NEW Mr. Brainwash , by tonys on Feb 20, 2018 17:53:22 GMT 1, An analogy, Secret Affair rode the shirt tails of the 'Second Summer of Mod' with The Jam leading lights in the movement. They had their 15mins & then folk realised they weren't all that in terms of originality. Some artists will have longevity because of their profound effect on a movement, punters will just turn up their snobbish noses at those on the periphery. Regarding Mr Brainwash.... this isn't the time for action.

President’s Day /// NEW Mr. Brainwash , by submethod on Feb 21, 2018 3:29:26 GMT 1, I am not entirely convinced all of the work sold. Marketing strategy might be to sell a few, claim SOLD OUT, then repurpose them back on eBay or galleries to cash in on FOMO.

Shocked that these all sold out. But then again, I shouldn't be surprised considering the apparent size of his fan base.

He is like the Seinfeld of the art world.

Except that Seinfeld actually has real talent and puts hard work into his craft. Can't say the same for Mr Brainwash.

It's just crap, like watching paint dry. I don't get Seinfeld at all. Canned laughter too. I guess people settle for anything these days.

As far as stand-up is concerned, most comics consider Seinfeld to be a master. It's not easy to get as far as he has while still being "family friendly". Plus the Seinfeld show is considered by many to be one of the best sitcoms (if not shows) in the history of TV. Not really "settling" when it comes to Seinfeld. Mr Brainwash on the other hand puts out mostly terrible stuff.

Brainwash is part of the reason people accept anything as long a sthey can flip it. It's a culture of money and greed combined with dumbing down society which started a long time ago with people like Rothko etc and the galleries and dealers behind it. Hollywood has gone the same route.
