Gonefellow π¬π§ Print Release β’ Street Art β’ Art For Sale, by Deleted on Sept 16, 2016 17:14:10 GMT 1, Β£220 for a fan-art poster?!
Really, what is the point of making this into an edition?
And what is the point of having it signed? Adds nothing whatsoever to the product or its value.
Come back Outis, all is forgiven...

Gonefellow π¬π§ Print Release β’ Street Art β’ Art For Sale, by Castle Gallery NI on Sept 16, 2016 18:14:22 GMT 1, By Bucky Turco
Sincura Group, the London-based firm that helps facilitate the removal and sale of Banksyβs outdoor work and claims to solely do it for goodwill and charity is universally hated by fans of the British street artist. Recently, they mounted an ironically-named exhibition featuring several cutout walls, once again rising the ire of the artistβs supporters. To highlight the groupβs terribleness, gonefellow responded via the above illustration. Itβs a parody of the βSirens of the Lambsβ image that the artist posted on his site, but instead of the driver taking the caged animals to a slaughter house, heβs taking the works to the art world equivalent. (Illustration: gonefellow)

It's a nice clean image. But I wouldn't personally pay over Β£200 inc P&P for a tribute piece like this from an artist I've never heard of. But clearly plenty would, so congrats to those that wanted it and scored.

My points are there's a lot of derivative art on here and a lot of ripping people's styles off
Pay Β£200 and good luck - - I wouldn't

Thank you for your answer. For me, you can't compare this print and derivative art ( as all the Banksy stencils followers, or street-artists , that use " process " ( procΓ©dΓ©s in French ) to sell their stuff or just to get a bit of notoriety, using and abusing of pics of soldiers, unicorns, Disney characters, Campbell soups, kids, etc etc ... I hope that you understand what I mean. Here, it doesn't look as tats, or cheap copies, but I ve seen a real talent in this print , saying in myself " wow ! " when I saw it, months, maybe years ago ... Just today I remarked that the driver was not the original one, but the young author portrait, himself ! Very funny. Yes, we could discuss about the price, but it is a small edition , coming from a passionate and liver of art and street-art, and ganging a small - but lovely - gallery. Why to Blame them so ? It's not insane but fresh and creative ( even if you see some redundancy ) , I really like it. You know I bought prints by the past from supposed great artists, I paid them a lot, and now, if you want to sell one, you can't as nobody wants , even at a quarter of its first price... Better look after young ( or old - I am lol -, no I am joking ) artists and " parallel " market ( sic ) , than to wait for a new D. ( I loved him by the past ) , that you will pay the triple, for nothing : you did not like it so much in fact, In the bottom of your heart, but you bought because it is a print from X, Y. Or Z... Or because of hype, or to flip.. But I don't think that you are this kind of sir, otherwise, you won't answer me. Thank you sir. ( and sorry for my words that could seem a bit rude too

This is not great art and is not a great execution If this guy is so talented why is he ripping off banksy and his style
Just another rip off
He maybe not using the same old repeated icons everyone else does Instead he's just copying styles
It's just bad and that's my opinion

I don't know if it is you or not - never mind - who write or sell in this blog or shop ( ?! )but they are very hard, as you, with Gonefellow , and I don't know why there is so much hate for an ( brilliant ) artist whatever his age !? www.postersandprintsblog.com/postersandprintsblog/2016/9/18/gonefellow-banksy-truck-rip-off-print-release-details.html Anyway, the owner of o blog talking about new art releases should not talk about the quality or not and to give an advice ! It's a question of ethic ! Just to tell, and to answer you, why not to criticize so Bansky who has copied by the past a lot of ideas or prints by Warhol, or Invader with Lichtenstein, etc .,, What to think too of the other artists who has copied the copies of Banksy etc etc ( we can declinate on decades etc .,, ) What's about Gagnon so ? What's about also the artists that have copied with all kinds of dogs ( as Jonone, And many more ) Choose your Weapon ?
This is a parody , as written, as Dismaland was ! As good as a Banksy ! Watch the King of Comedy and Vive les Artistes !

Gonefellow π¬π§ Print Release β’ Street Art β’ Art For Sale, by Coach on Sept 22, 2016 16:24:09 GMT 1, I like it. It's not pretending to be what it's not. It's clearly a tribute/parody. But most importantly it's a well made comment on the removal of street pieces. Remember that awful picture of a huge rat, cut out, and stuck in a bank! Oh, the irony! I expect, but could not possibly know, that Banksy would approve.

Coach Genuine question not intended to be confrontational, but do you see any irony in a secondary market Banksy-buy-to-sell gallery and 'artist' profiting heavily from their Β£220 "well made comment on the removal of street pieces"?

Only people who want to spend that amount of money on it will do so, skip. I commented because I agree with the sentiment of the piece, and I think it unfair of people to suggest that this is a "rip-off" of Banksy's work. I find that huge piece of wall with a rat painted on it, sat in a bank, really very objectionable.

Well nobody still not answer me in these forum ( ah ! The brexit I guess , stop them ! ) , but first I don't care, because I am not a common rich collector with view on Hyde or Not Park , and 2, most of you have no memory : this drawing - first and not a print - has been made by Gonefellow, during or after the BOTI show 2 years ago ! It was a joke, without pretentiousness , between Boti's truck and Sincura hitch jacking the wall in Palestine or proposing his exhibition in London... Anyway, these 16 colors are beautiful, the paper too, have a look on the giveaway at the moment of a print at 150 quids, and then we will can talk again about chips and sausages ...

Gonefellow π¬π§ Print Release β’ Street Art β’ Art For Sale, by bone on Oct 20, 2016 16:38:11 GMT 1, Cool print, but the amount of hate and venom that was spit over the Outis print compared to this one is interesting. People lost their shit over the Outis print, seems like the same type of thing, only this print costs more.
