New parra print , by expresspost on Dec 19, 2017 1:03:52 GMT 1, Sorry but I don’t know who you are talking about but the Optichromie and this one are the only print I have for sale !!!!!!!!!!! What about the Gee Vaucher you were trying to sell some days ago? The parra sliding doors was obviously bought to flip, but then you realized it's not selling so well.
No shame.
Apart from purpleandred, did anyone buy the parra to keep by choice and not because they couldn't flip it?

That's just the nature of the game these days.

People are free to do what they want...Just don't try to misrepresent your actions as altruistic and when the exercise purely serves oneself.

I love Parra's style & his work on the secondary market is out of my budget range. I was super happy when mine arrived yesterday.

I’d estimate 80% of big trainer launches - Yeezys and those Nike x Off White are bought to flip. It’s infuriating Yup. I used to be into trainers 10+ years ago and the art game is very similar. People were size 8 feet buying size 12 JUST to flip. Lining up 2 days early, etc. Just a mess. I got out of it some years ago though but rlook where I ended up?
The sneaker manufacturers knew the popularity though and made limited runs which boosted the exclusivity and the hype. Jordan Brand who would come out re-release a retro once every 5 years or so started re-releasing them much more frequently and with larger runs. That actually slowed down a lot of hype. But the really exclusive collabos like Kanye's, Nike x Off White are flip drops. Most are buying to flip.
Was a cool hobby but got ruined

Yea when I had to start lining up for basic shoes that would sit on clearance racks for months, I got out. Sold about 85% if my collection. SBs were very easy to sell.
Back on topic, if the art doesn’t sell out instantly, it’s not flip able. Would you agree?

me too, and i send an email, and they answer me"thats is normal, because it is handmade"... disapointed by the quality, i have some finger spot... I'd like to see some pictures of what you think are printing errors/flaws/smudges. It was mentioned explicitly in the description that; "by using some painterly effects the print was made to look like the original 2017 'sliding doors' painting". It was also noticeable in the pictures provided on Parra's website.
The print was made in Antwerp by presumably the same printer as 'No work today' which was 'smudge free'. I can only imagine you're both complaining about the effects that were put in on purpose.

New parra print , by hungry on Dec 19, 2017 23:01:30 GMT 1, Apparently people want their prints to be sterile as hell and not have the style and textures of the originals. I'm also going to assume these people REALLY hate hand embellishment versions too.
Personally I'm excited for this print to arrive on my doorstep. I recently framed the 'No Work Today', and as much as I liked that one, I think the darker hues of 'Sliding Doors' are really appealing.

I like the image, the composition of the two models has a balanced flow to it. This will be an under appreciated print overlooked because of it resale value.

New parra print , by mrbagel on Dec 19, 2017 23:21:23 GMT 1, Mine's arrived and I love the hand embellishments. If anything, the weird tit is growing on me (figuratively, otherwise I've swallowed too many tabs...) and the old Parras are looking a tad plain/obvious.
Going straight up on the wall. Well, after I spend 3 more nights reading about Japanese hinges...

The marks were on all the pictures so they weren't hiding it.
If you're not happy with it, I would try and use a white brand new rubber and see if it removes it. Try the back first to see how it reacts to the paper.
I'm on the fence about whether it's part of the image and shouldn't be removed or try and clean it up.

Bleach will also help, go on put a few drops on.
Honestly parra must be pissing himself, its meant to have dirty marks on as they are screened on.
Just when you think the world could not get more stupid, it does.
