My personal Favorite
"Enjoy the real thing"
University of Bergen, New years eve 2016.
The headmaster of the catholic children school across the street got it removed after just a few days.
Apparently the children got scared.... (Some local street art enthusiasts/bloggers asked a few pupils at the school if they were afraid of the image, None of them even understood the question)

I guess AFK expected the ISIS/Al Qaida image to get painted over, because the very next day he hit very same spot again.

As Nuart linked to in first post, that piece got removed after a few months by an overeager contractor removing graffiti on behalf of the road authorities.
So a few months later he hit the same spot again.

'Stolen Child' by AFK (nor), inspired by the poem by William B Yeats, has finally made it to print. The street piece was sprayed on a psychiatric hospital in Bergen which accentuates the link between the poem and the image. 


Who's AFK?

AFK is a Bergen based street artist steadily gaining international recognition and has established himself as one of Norways leading street artist. His motifs are often very political and want to make pieces that makes people think, not just eyecandy. Featuring in Reed Projects Nuart and recently at Outdoor Festival in Rome, AFK has just shown us glimps of what to expect. The best is yet to come
