Depends what you do for work and where it is.
Eg A gigolo who is in the middle of "work" might find it tricky to be successful in obtaining a print.

I looked into buying one once and from my limited knowledge of bots and programming in general, it seems most commercially available programs are designed for shoe websites. Could a savvy user tweak his for art websites? Probably but I imagine those are few are far between. Along with which it is entirely possible to check out in ~15-20 seconds with average internet (I regularly do so on my Verizon iPhone for Fairey releases). If you refresh five seconds late for an in demand print or PayPal is a little bogged down for you, that could easily make the difference.

Agree, I’ve gotten almost every drop I wanted and only lost out because a credit card declined the charge for fraud reasons. You just have to be quick on the computer use auto fills etc.... the bots need to fill in pages, click next etc and if there is any hiccup they lose out while a person can adjust more quickly. |

20 seconds? It was sold out in 3. you underestimate the use of bots or algorithms. Same thing happens for concert tickets. One area I will agree is PayPal. PayPal slowness or just overall silliness has cost me a number of drops.
Dont mind losing out to other fans but hate losing out to people who flip a minute later.

If bots were so widespread in the art game his would be harder than whatsons to get legitimately. More mainstream more broad audience, more people purely in it to profit. Sure whatson is flippable but he’s not on the radar of the regular guy looking to make a quick buck with his bot.

I’ll tell you this, if I got 20 seconds I would be the proud owner of a print. I can’t see why the cart can’t be timed for a minute or two. There’s a very simple solution to this.
