Banksy in Palestine π΅πΈ, by Daniel Silk on Mar 8, 2006 19:11:53 GMT 1, Do you think that its really Banksy doing that stencil?
I'm not sure it would be worth the risk of being filmed, with it being in such a busy location.
What do you think?

So that old chestnut of the 'West is Best' rings true for you then? Peace rather than terror - of course; but to imply that peace relates to Western philosophy and by default that terror relates to Eastern philosophy is a mile off the mark. Could you clarify what you mean?

Banksy in Palestine π΅πΈ, by aladdinsane on Dec 18, 2007 18:42:40 GMT 1, If someone could recommend a reputable American charity that does the same sponsorship of children in Gaza I would appreicate it. I was emailing back and forth with Interpal in the UK and they were trying to find someone for me but seemed to have come up empty. Graeme try Interpal.org they were very helpful with giving me information if I wanted to work with them and a few others on the boards have recommended them in the past I think. Cheers mate.

what a load of ethnocentric, orientalist crap!
(sorry if you read this BONGO - what with your spread some love idea - but this just peeved me off!)
us = good them = bad
...afraid it isn't as simple as that!
I mean it's not like you were talking about a charity in particular - it was a generalised statement inciting that all non western charities in the region sponsor terrorism! what an absolute James Blunt you are (rhyming slang for...)

Banksy in Palestine π΅πΈ, by insite on Feb 10, 2008 12:42:24 GMT 1, It is the wall "for sale"
I think the clue is in the line "Buyer must collect in person and will receive lots of help with this from the local population. " To me this makes it sound like a false auction using ebay to highlight the political situation and a medical charity. I doubt very much this is a genuine sale.

Amazing, good man (although it doesn't surprise me from what I know about him). Where did you find this out?

as in i think the people who flip the prints (secondary market) etc should give some of it away. if people are buying from source then the more they spend the better.
