Is Banksy Robert Del Naja?, by moron on Mar 18, 2020 12:39:35 GMT 1, Would be interested to hear Silky’s thoughts on posting photos like this on here. It’s not a well circulated image (as far as I’m aware) and is likely to result in a tabloid writing a story on it, if spotted Times have changed and so has Banky's so called ethics.
He went from being some art world outsider who stencilled cartoons on walls. To an art auction world blue chip investment pandering to the rich and shellfish.
In the early days, keeping his identity, background, business plan etc secret was very plausible. Today why should anyone pander to his and his business teams whims?
As Saatchi proved, with the right media contacts and money one can generate publicity and an interest and sell shit to the greedy who play the art hype ponzi scheme.
There is very little substance to Banksy as in Hirst and when Banksy decided to destroy Robbo's art to tell the world that he is the big numero uno the only people who supported him are the people in his business team plan and so called investors who would spend thousands on a dog turd if it was made by a particular dog whose turds are hyped in auction houses for very high prices.

Is Banksy Robert Del Naja?, by moron on Mar 18, 2020 13:06:23 GMT 1, People who have signed the Banksy official secret act as in team or people who have done work for Banksy.
To not reveal his identity is extremely hard to enforce.
Remember "Spycather" ?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spycatcher
There are lots of countries where info can be released including via proxies.
It's more likely that people are scared to reveal info for fear of being beaten up or blaclisted etc.
Banksy and some of his cult like followers come across as very thuggish at times. They even went as far as writing "Die Robbo " on walls after Banksy caused the spat between him and Robbo.

Why do you demonstrate so much Banksy Butthurt? It's not called for. Be better. You have clearly misconstrued what I wrote to suit your own agenda.
How far up Banky's arse will people climb?

Is Banksy Robert Del Naja?, by tonysantos2001 on Mar 22, 2020 16:38:38 GMT 1, Hmm, you've posted a picture that is a cropped version of the original image, not only that but if you zoom in you can see that it's from a photo of a SCREEN GRAB!
No offence, and I know that it's all pretty much public now but seems to me you were sent a photo that was NOT to be shared and you've done exactly that!

I always think there must be some old media out there that shows something interesting about Banksy. But i dont think this find brings any new facts to the table. The footage of RDN using stencils is all over youtube and doesnt seem to prove anything either way. But also lets not forget that i have no idea what im talking about

Is Banksy Robert Del Naja?, by rebelrms on Aug 19, 2021 16:38:27 GMT 1, Sorry if you guys are tired of this subject. I have gone down the rabbit hole of Banksy recently. As a graff writter I was always a bit of a hater but I do like his or their work. The way Banksy holds a spray can is unusual. He grips the whole top of the can something most writters don't do to avoid getting paint on their fingers. The eyes, voice, can grip, and exact style match the video of a young Del Naja painting the checker Pacino with other videos of Banksy. Except the videos with the guy in glasses, Robin. So I am convinced this was started by 3D with help from a friend. Of course this is also a collective now as Banksy is basically a continuation of Warhol and SAMO. Done and Done. I gave my Daughter a lesson on Banksy and she watched exit. Her response was "he's a good artist but pure evil". She is 10 hahaha.

Is Banksy Robert Del Naja?, by eD on Aug 19, 2021 17:13:13 GMT 1, rebelrms Your daughter is very wise haha
As a writer i've never been offended by Banksy - I just love seeing paint on walls. The thing I admire is the meaning behind the work - after subject matter there is usually meaningful content (humor/satire/politics etc). The concept and ideas within the framework of anonymity is what draws people in. IMO...
Also I spoke to Del the other day....he said he wasn't him

Banksy is only Banksy and it will only be. Even on march in 500 years ! Why they all search who is Banksy : it’s written on the print or canvas most of the times

Is Banksy Robert Del Naja?, by Smokeidaeye on Jan 25, 2023 18:10:43 GMT 1, This Help95 charity print was an edition of 200 so maybe that one? Not my listing. They will not get anywhere near that; these are about £400 or thereabouts. If you can get one for 400 GBP then I would grab it. If I were a betting man I would say more in the neighborhood of $1200-1500 for an edition of 200. Of course like anything, it comes down to supply and demand and there are only a couple listings out there right now.
That said, I've never seen a 3D print image that I love aside from a couple glitter ones from the Fire Sale show. Been chasing one for a while now.
