My Fedex shipping label was created 40 hours ago but there has not been any update yet. I wonder if any of you guys are in the same boat.

I need to re arrange the delivery details but as far as the tracking won't be updated I won't be able to change nothing.

That's what makes the most sense but 40 hours seems too much time for not being collected yet. That's why I would like to know if I am the only one here.

You can generate a label months in advance, but it only starts tracking once picked up.

For those in the same boat as myself, I have contacted Fedex and they let me know the parcel might be traveling with a different label (and tracking number), so that is why it has not been updated for so long. As I am going to be out, if I don't change the delivery address it could easily be returned after the second delivery attempt.

What a horrible defect. Happy to take it off your hands at cost so you don't need to look at that gross deformity for even a second longer...

It's called a deckle edge, it's inherent in proper print making paper. You usually have one to three edges with a natural deckle from where the paper pulp seeps under the mould, and one torn edge deckle where the sheet has been separated (depending on the size of the print, the sheet will be hand torn to print 2+ images using the paper from one large sheet) Anyway don't trim it, that will actually knock value off.

And on the edge it looks like part of the watermark, though it's hard to say from the image.  From the shape I'd say it's on Arches 88, but I've not received mine yet so I cannot say for certain.  I am sure other members who have received one will be able to enlighten us as to which paper it's on.

I think he's talking about the Arches 'a' rather than the deckled edge

-how should it be tensed ? Sticked to the back ?

I swear I have visited 3 or 4 high standards framers and they have opposite speeches that's why I am asking dear friends

For the story I went to see one with à whatson print and the framer wanted to stick a dibond Alu to the back of the print 😰😰

Malheureusement you are absolutely right, framers in Paris mostly have no fucking clue, and consider prints like cheap posters (hence all the stuff you see glued to backboards, framed against the glass etc...)

I would contact Idem or maybe Perrotin, who both deal in prints, and ask them for a "bon tuyau"

You can alsways ask Orbi who framed the originals
