Invader Invasion Kit MSF, by Lroy on Jun 26, 2017 10:14:15 GMT 1, Not sure I understand your statement here. MSF is not a good cause for you. And Invader and OTI should give them for free because MSF does not need the money. This auction is open to anyone. If you want to bid 1 quid on it, nobody is stopping you. You will see if it is all hype or if there is actually real higher demand for it than you think. Nobody understands Roy's statements not even Royston himself; if you are just "not sure" then you are doing better than most ! Can you explain please ? I don't understand you too ... really... ( It s difficult to understand myself sometimes so when it is other persons talking about my statement, its worth... )

Invader Invasion Kit MSF, by Matt on Jun 26, 2017 10:43:15 GMT 1, These are fantastic pieces, and for a great cause, and this is without any doubt the absolute best way to release them. Kudos to OTi and Invader.
I am sure they will go for loads of cash.
However, at some point the price is getting very close to Alias territory, and with an Alias you have a 1/1 and don't have the open it / don't open dilemma.
So if you are keeping up with the Jones' or a die hard invader hoarder who has mountains of cash to spend, these are fab.
But if you are not someone who buys ft 30k+ artworks on a wim, these are not as appealing really

They start at 20k£ for the most part. The rise in the last few months has been existent but nothing like the prints and kits (and also partly inflated by the fact they are mostly priced in Euro)

Invader Invasion Kit MSF, by alexdb on Jun 26, 2017 12:39:45 GMT 1, How much would the value decrease by unpacking it and framing it? I haven't bought an invasion kit as I want to hang art not leave it in a bag. I bought an invasion kit and OF COURSE I took it out to put it on my wall - as I don't buy art as an investment, I think it is ridiculous to keep them in a bag. You only keep your prints in a tube or a flat file if you don't like them so much for the wall or if you keep them as an investment - same with Invasion Kits. Save the bag or have it framed in the back - good enough for every collector. And for the MSF kit - I think it is a good way to raise money for the charity and give them also some attention - plus, I heard, OTI is not keeping any of the money for commission - all raised funds go 100% to MSF - nice move. I have just made a donation to MSF - without Invader I might have spent that money on drinks the upcoming weekend. Good luck to everyone who go for the MSF kit - and If you get one - go on, open and put it on the wall. I took mine out as well and its hanging in the kitchen. Kept the bag and just enjoy the art. I have no intention for a sale, but if I must sell this piece due to some reason, I think the bag inlcuding the kit will be fine for a sale.

Invader Invasion Kit MSF, by Deleted on Jun 26, 2017 13:36:40 GMT 1, okkk smartie pants i made a offer of £17,050 in euros So that's €19.395? I'm sure you'll get one..
My humble opinion, I don't think that will be enough. These will be going for a minimum of €20,000. I'm still undecided if this was the best way, especially for the average collector. The could have sold online tickets for £20 each, would have at least given the man in the street a chance and quite possibly raised more money.

They're letting people know they're not high enough? That's an auction, not a blind bid!

Invader Invasion Kit MSF, by jluhiex on Jun 27, 2017 21:59:52 GMT 1, The whole bidding over email seems archaic. I could see this getting annoying as people bid in increments of 500, multiple that by 500 people bidding or throwing stupid low offers. Compound that with multiple responses of bids too low and having yourself pushed out of the top 25 to only keep bidding. And don't forget they're supposedly monitoring this for 24 hours so if you submit a last minute bid will they respond in time to accept the offer?
