Received mine today.  

The quality is EXTREMELY good. With the embossing and glaze mixed with the matte finished areas it really looks like paint.  

I think the pics that Katrin and Avant posted are the best representation honestly but here are a few more close ups.  

It really draws you in and I am very happy with it.

It is bloody beautiful and the embossing/varnishing really lifts the seeps of paint of off the metallic background...here are a few quick pics but I'll take some better ones in better light!

It depends what you mean by complicated. The technology that goes into a computer scanner, photo editing equipment and digital printers, is far more technically advanced or complicated than a screen made of silk (nylon) and some paints.

But screen printing, especially when it requires a few layers, is not easy and requires a different set of skills to clicking a mouse.

Very impressed by this first release by Avant Arte. Excellent packing job and the print is beautiful despite whatever methods were or weren't used in its printing. I absolutely love this print, but am a bit putt off by the tactics in the marketing of it. I don't think it was necessary to hide the fact that digital print methods were used and it was quite obvious that it wasnt a multi layered screenprint, judging by how avant arte's other screenprint by Conrad Jon Godly touted the number of layers in the description. Furthermore, creating a secondary account on here to deflect questions and spout misinformation was probably unnecessary. Besides that, Bravo on an efficient release of a goddamn gorgeous print!

I can't wait for mine to come today...I went for the colour one but the black and silver looks amazing also. Also great to see they have been sent flat, although I guess rolling these may have damaged the print.

There are plenty of experienced collectors here, who well know the merits of screen printing, they’re in no need of educating.

For the ppl, for who process doesn’t matter, they are ignoring, or possibly not understanding what I find so cool. There is much more to a print than just what’s on the surface, and part of that is the journey it has taken to become the object we can see and touch.

The route taken to create these is interesting, and I have not criticised it, but was trying to unpick how they were made.

Hadn't realised my print had been sat with my next door neighbour since yesterday!! Just opened it up and i am glad to say it lived up to the hype! Really vivid colours and amazing texture.

Categorically? Or just relayed by one of our fellow members here? Not saying that fellow is lying, but people are sure running away with it. Between the two, only Avant had addressed the issue directly here. Coriander hasn't, nor has Avant or Coriander explained the discrepancy, if such a discrepancy exists.

I'm with you on honesty, but I've had nothing but good dealings with Katrin. Although I did not buy these prints (I have Royal Gene&Ethics but am otherwise originals-only), the issue wouldn't have prevented me from buying them if I wanted to. If it did prevent you from buying them, that shouldn't bother anyone, but, to borrow your word, to categorically state that someone is lying is a little much.
