I have a genuine one for sale, stickers and stencil

Most are fakes

My question is how to discern fakes from originals. What’s the process you go through to determine most are fakes ?

lobio best way is to compare to one that is known to be authentic, which is why disturbart offered his genuine one for sale.

Typically the best way to tell is to purchase bundled with the other items. One complete set includes the following (listed in order of easiest to find to rarest, IMO):
- folded poster
- sticker sheet
- postcard
- DIY Pamphlet
- DIY Stencil
*some might say that the unfolded poster can also be included

If unable to compare to an authentic one, your next best bet is to grab a loupe and inspect the poster thru it. If its authentic you should be able to see the rosette pattern typical in the offset, CMYK lithographic process. If this is unfamiliar to you, then you will need to research that as well.

Last but not least, maybe do a search of that specific thread topic to see if someone else has
- already asked that question
- provided helpful answers and/or instructions to your question

Thank you all, and thanks disturbart for the offer. Yes definitely offset lithograph looking through the loop, very clear rosetting observable and also have confirmation it’s on recycled paper. Bought from gallery while back with gallery COA but always want to double check. so that’s a good start I guess…will keep you all updated.

Another question - anyone know what the authentic color scheme of the background should be (e.g hill/mountain in background and trees )? For some prints I have seen light green for others brown. Is one color indicative of a fake vs genuine ?

Had some chat, said he bought/ sold 5 or 6 from his art dealer in the last year.... not lithograph, original or good ,only in it 2 years and no complaints.

I wonder if you can tell authenticity by the color of the mountain and trees in the background. It seems like authentic ones have green coloration of the mountain and trees and fake typically more brownish. Thoughts ?

Hi there , I am new to this forum and looking to sell some fabulous work. I have a fab example of the Save or Delete Offset Lithograph on recycled paper and in collaboration with Greenpeace. The item was purchased from the Drang Gallery and comes with provenance from there and invoice. It is immaculately presented, framed to conservation standards. If you look around a little you will see the items fetching quite a bit more than this so I feel it is a great price. See examples below. The cheaper ones are either not as in good condition, framed or indeed without provenance. Please do feel free to ask any questions!

As far I can see, the ones who are able to fetch this price come with the flyer and the stencil
Not sure the Drang gallery coa is good enough to certify provenance
