Charity eBay sale: original Jimmy Cauty artwork, by trinitybristol on Mar 20, 2017 16:25:25 GMT 1, God Save The Trinity Centre
This original mixed-media collage was created by Jimmy Cauty, Billy Childish, Harry Adams and Jamie Reed at the L-13 Light Industrial Workshop studios to raise money for Trinity Community Arts, the charity base din the Trinity Centre, Bristol.
The piece is available to bid on eBay until Friday 24th April at 6pm
Colour copies of the piece were produced to create A2 screen prints and 300x400mm digital prints that featured in the charity's recent crowdfunder The eBay sale also includes an original pen drawing of the Trinity Fox, created by one of Bristol's premier urban artists and illustrators, Andy Council. The Trinity Fox was created to raise funds for the charity and prints were exchanged for donations in the Crowdfunder. Andy is best known for his street art, where he celebrates the rich built heritage of Bristol's streets in creature-creation forms, such as his Bristol Dinosaur
We also have number 20/20 of a limited set of prints created by another Bristol urban artist, the street-stencil scribe Stewy. His image of Knowle-West-Bristol boy Tricky has become an icon, particularly in South Bristol. Stewy donated number 20/20 to raise funds for the charity, and Tricky himself owns a number of this limited edition himself.
The online auction ends on Friday 24th at 6pm, and every penny goes towards providing essential repairs to the Grade II* listed Trinity Centre, the home of Bristol ska, reggae, punk, dub and trip hop Trinity's vision is for everyone to have the opportunity to access and shape arts and culture.Trinity also has a rich musical heritage over 40 years, and was the foundation stone of the Bristol Sound
Our mission is to empower communities through arts: We provide a progressive programme of live music and performance, creative workshops, heritage learning, educational and well-being activities. We also give free hall-space to community groups and individuals to deliver their activities, follow their passions and realise their ideas.
The Trinity Conservation Project will help preserve the building for future generations and keep our doors open for the local community and public
