They really are nice prints, anyone that managed to get one will really enjoy it. I picked up a silver at the gallery opening night, was hoping for a gold today to get the set but missed out. Subliminal Projects has a bunch of photos up from the show on their FB page here:

my question is how do you even possible get one when the entire fucking site crashes? was a joke, I got through PP like 4 times and the info form page simply timed out. How do other people not get load errors? Makes no sense to me.

When it times out, you have to keep refreshing the page. Eventually it will connect. There's about four or five pages where it'll time out. All you can do is keep refreshing and continuing the order until you either get an invoice or a message that your cart is empty.

Be happy you even got that far. Myself and many others got temporarily IP blocked moments before the drop happened and didn't even get to make an attempt at it. I assume from refreshing the page too much and it acted like we were trying to DDoS the site or something. Simply too many people going after the same thing, a few will luck out get through and most won't, it's kind of a toss up.

oh I kept reloading and the worst part was is the one item that would not finisg loading is the submit button...I was even looking in the source code for the link haha nada.

I had the ip block come up aswell which is weird because Ive F5'd plenty of times before on other releases.

I swapped from Chrome to Firefox and still got the same blocked info so I restarted my router for a new IP.

Anyone know where the IP block comes from ? Is it an Obey website function ? It said Google but when I tried to switch to Yahoo it still blocked that specific website so it must be non browser specific thing.

The artwork featured in Caught By The Nest is inspired by the book The Reason I Jump, written by Naoki Higashida and translated by David Mitchell, a long time collaborator with the art duo and author of Cloud Atlas. The Reason I Jump is a smart, self-aware memoir by a 13 year-old autistic child who colorfully articulates how he thinks, feels, responds, and experiences daily life.
