I so wanted those decks and they were up for 2 days before selling out, but resisted as I'm cutting back. They are definitely a bargain though as Element decks are normally £50ish anyway.

I've always liked the fact that their palette is very muted/restrained (mainly being black, white, silver, gold, copper). At least it's been the case since I've been following them. But I must admit a little colour is doing them good!

Were they available before the show opened ? as they were definitely sold out by 7:30 pm on opening night....I went in with a no buying mindset and crumbled as soon as i saw them so will be very pissed off if they were still available yet told me sold-out. 

There will be an unsigned edition although I doing know if they will be limited or open. The decks won't actually be ready till August which is when they will release the rest.

Great pictures - these pieces look fantastic.  Hard to imagine how they do them in ballpoint pen..... 

I assume special pens / inks must be involved given the propensity of standard inks to fade - does anybody know?

There was a really interesting article in the Guardian as well.  I wasn't aware of their close association with David Mitchell (the author rather than the comedian).  He's one of my favourite writers, and his early books are very collectible. (I didn't know that they had done the cover of the Cloud Atlas UK edition).  All of which means that the letterpress edition of his short story written for the show with the print looks very attractive to me. Only three left now!

I thought the decks were fantastic value as well, and so ignored my 'no purchases right now' mindset and picked up a matching set. They'll also be unique on the wall.

They were online for a couple days, but sold out fast in that timeframe. The folks at Stolen Space had a cancellation, and so that's the only reason I was able to get my hands on them.

If not, I would have gone for the print. I'm loving the new colors from K&S.
