This sounds about right but everything is completely over inflated in my opinion with banksy right now so the value on 'banksy' pieces will be crazy high right now if your looking to buy. If this keeps up, the days of owning a banksy will be out of reach for most. Just 6-8 months ago The silver flags unsigned was going for $1800 on here. Now people are selling it for $1k more which is nuts.

Well if EB means nothing then your saying what people sell it for and the crazy prices are the right prices? Ya, it would be a nice find right now for $1800. Seems if you do not look at EB for what the stable prices are for prints then all we have to rely on is what people sell them for? I would NEVER do that. Thats like me saying a $300 print is worth $600 and that is the price so deal with it.

It is 2250 GBP to 2500 GBP, maybe you need to deal with that.

Trust me EB prices for banksy are nonsense, have been for years, i was told its pretty good for other artists though,  ignore regarding banksy imo

Like I said, 6-8 months ago they were selling ON HERE for $1800. I almost bought one. Over the past year My buddy has also had many chances to get this print for under $2200 but now he already has one. I didnt say EB can find me one NOW for $1800. Obviously prices are inflated at this moment.

EB seems to only follow what is sold on ebay. So EBs prices are based off of what is sold on ebay. SO the prices for banksy stuff will be different I am sure.

Minimum £2500 probably more for a nice condition unframed example.

Its a sellers market.

EB is not a good gauge for print prices unless you are trying to talk a seller in to a low ball offer...

I Gotta ask. If EB is not a good price point for prints which are sold on ebay, then what exactly do you guys look at? I hope you do not just take it amongst yourselves to make the decision of if a piece is worth $1k when it was sold for lets say $400 couple months ago. If so, this would explain how Martin Whatson pieces have gone through the roof. I am just curious on what you look at or how you come to this conclusion if you have nothing to look at? Obviously you have to look at how much it is selling for elsewhere no?

It's worth remembering this forum is for fans so you'll get those over estimating to: protect their collection; because they love the image; or because they've no real knowledge of prices but have an opinion. Also fans will purchase at inflated rates too because of their fandom - I'm guilty of this! In a word take estimates here with a pinch off salt

Pretty ignorant to say this. Lately this is the norm on this board. Some people don't necessarily keep up with art prices buddy. Just because you do does not mean everyone does. And since people make up inflated prices on here to protect their purchases,  this still is a forum to ask questions.

The real questions are : 

Could you afford the 2800 GBP?
Is it worth 2800 GBP to you?

Prices are all over the place. In a year time this print will be worth 3500GBP perhaps (or back to 900GBP?)
And by worth i mean "the amount that some people will spend on this print".
I missed out on a couple of lovely prints because i thought they were overpriced by a couple hundred quid. A couple months and years later i bought some of those prints for even higher prices.

Well..those are very good questions Json..can I afford it?Maybe...do I want to pay 2.8k?..not really..need to be realistic about these prices too although with Banksy it's bloody hard these days..
2.5k is kind of where I want to be after reading all the comments in here so asked the guy if he can do a deal at that..let's see what happens..sometimes I just need to say no to certain deals and move on..This might be the time if the guy doesn't accept my offer.

Good decision! If you want to pay 2.5, offer 2.5 If you feel like you are over-paying on a piece will you enjoy it to the fullest? I think not.

To be honest i never gave this print (and the Toxic prints) any thought but they really start to grow on me!

ears mine one of my favs when i bought mine back in the day i had to wait for it as banksy had not  been in to sign them yet ...i reacon £2.5k for unsigned is right ....
