Banksy - Very Little Helps (Very Little Helps) - Signed Limited Edition wi, by bigv on Oct 29, 2016 7:50:32 GMT 1, Why wouldn't eBay let it on? It seems the price isn't the full answer since there's a flying copper available for $30k+ (if I remember correctly) and a Shopping Jesus Crucifixion (you'll have to excuse my lack of knowledge of its actual name as I don't have the juice to get in the Banksy game yet) for $65k.

Morning bigv,
I'm not a massive user of ebay. While I have a score of 100% I've only bought and sold 82 items (look me up - ben22777). When I tried to post the ad I was advised that I can only sell up to ยฃ3,500 of items in a single month. Who knew? I guess the more you sell/buy on ebay, the higher the value you can trade. I'm no expert, probably someone on this forum can tell us more.
cheers

Banksy - Very Little Helps (Very Little Helps) - Signed Limited Edition wi, by DrWhite on Oct 29, 2016 8:04:57 GMT 1, Good lord the seller has stated a price for the print he is selling - and we're still not happy ๐ฉ If he posted this with no price he would be getting lambasted - it appears to be an unframed signed print in perfect condition. Interested parties will no doubt get in touch Increasingly buyers are buying images they like & want to frame/keep & often will pay the price to have a piece they KNOW is mint going forward There are plenty of prints being sold as mint that are far below that standard - members here can attest to this, and name both galleries & private sellers, they have had very disappointing experience with. I've personally had to return 3 prints to sellers recently. I have frequently paid a little more for a print in perfect condition- I don't like stories about fading, framing, tape, handling creases etc.
Just my .02

Banksy - Very Little Helps (Very Little Helps) - Signed Limited Edition wi, by Deleted on Oct 29, 2016 8:26:04 GMT 1, A good sales post if you ask me, ignoring the issue of not everything being visible on the phone platform but that was fixed promptly by the seller once pointed out to him; no big deal really as us phone users make up a tiny minority of overall forum users
If you dont like the price then you dont need to buy it. I havent liked the price of pretty much every print ive bought but it hasnt stopped me purchasing.

Cheers ben Yep, every COA should have a genuine Di Faced tenner stapled to it. I've seen some atrocious fake COA's in my time, like this one for example:
Wow that is bad

Banksy - Very Little Helps (Very Little Helps) - Signed Limited Edition wi, by Quinnster on Oct 29, 2016 11:26:33 GMT 1, Low Number adds no value.... And Andy would not sell in his gallery if print was damaged. He probably framed it for the B room, and I'm sure it was fully reversible.
That said if the price is too high it won't sell

Banksy - Very Little Helps (Very Little Helps) - Signed Limited Edition wi, by ben on Nov 3, 2016 11:05:48 GMT 1, Hi All,
Just for completeness, the original buyer pulled out of the deal citing personal circumstances. Obviously things change and I have no problem with their decision. I have had 3 more offers for the same value, but when the initial buyer pulled out, I had second thoughts about selling and have decided to keep the print. this is down to two main reasons. 1 - I have borrowed some money that cover my immediate needs 2 - Not needing the money in the short term I believe the print will only go up in value.
Once again, I would genuinely like to thank all of you for taking an interest, posting messages to this thread and to all the PM's.
Take care, and speak soon

Banksy - Very Little Helps (Very Little Helps) - Signed Limited Edition wi, by wave on Nov 3, 2016 17:51:09 GMT 1, Just read this thread, and the comment about prints being exposed to light got my attention. Surely if a print is conservation framed with UV glass, you should be safe no....otherwise what's the point in UV protection? Hmmm...Makes me want to open my VLH to check Save

And of supposedly UV protective perspex failing to prevent significant fading of a very rare piece of memorabilia..
Sometimes you get what you pay for I guess, even with framers that have a decent reputation.

UV glass offers very little actual protection and your prints will always 100% still fade when exposed to direct sunlight. It is more effective for non natural light sources but ultimately just lengthens the time it takes for fading to occur.
