It is a great print, only 75 of them too, I do feel guilty in taking so long in getting it framed, I've put AMPs Dead Che in front of it and now All Fall Down is jumping in front of it BUT it will be next to frame, I keep peeking into my art portfolio so it's not as bad as having it stuck in a tube.

Hi guys,

Have admired this print for a while and my better half bid on the item and won it for me tonight. Immediately after winning we got contacted by the seller basically saying the following.

He's realised this morning that theres been a mistake and the print is marked out of an edition of 79 rather than 75?

Obviously a strange issue here and I have my worries about the print, I asked for a photo and he promptly replied with this:




I said id be in contact. What are your thoughts on this, I notice the seller sold the same item a couple of month ago. Looks like he has a good history of selling prints.

Reckon its just a random mistake made by sos? wonder if theres any chance of returning the print to them?

Sounds like a random mistake to me... I wouldn't worry about it, sending it back etc... just drop them a line and they'll probably just send you an email you can use as provenance...

I followed that auction and noticed he wasn't offering documentation with it. I'd email SOS and have them verify, you have plenty of time to pay. I believe it's 10 days before the seller can even have Ebay send you a reminder.

I think the bills are made using the roller seen on the Beejoir's web and I am still not sure about face. Someone else? Beej?

Though like you, I reckon the bills are stencilled using the roller and the face is probably screenprinted.

Don't think anyone could possibly neg you for selling again something you bought at aftermarket price! Its the ones who buy it for pennies with the sole intention of selling a day later for a profit. SBFO......how many up for sale on Ebay?

Fair play to you, hope you get a good price, would love it myself but done my nuts on 21stCL and signed LVC recently!

The respect issue is one of the things I guess you can expect when you actively ask people to neg you as you want to reach -1000, did you not see verbals request post a week or so ago?

Everything seems to be going for a lot where will it all end, if you were a city trader and you moved into flipping art then you would be doing quite nicely at the moment 500- 600% profit on stuff in no time it seems crazy to me.

It's not so simple though is it, they could have bought Dan Baldwin, Zbiok, Eelus all manner of stuff in fact that wouldn't sell for any or not much profit.

I've 'got lucky' with a few purchases, but I'm not buying for investment, but for enjoyment, no money to be made from my Blek's or the Slinkachu I bought last week so thats about £750 worth of art just sitting on the wall, I don't care, I wanted them on the wall to look at. On the other hand some 'cheap' art I've bought like my Turin Scam was bought for £65 and is selling now for £700, the Mantis AFD £125 now worth over £400, and I got a Dead Che from AMP for free, that's probably worth near to £500. Other inexpensive prints haven't gone up much or at all, like Scorn - Tarot, Dolk - Officer Down, Kinsey - Gun, I could go on.

The point is it doesn't matter, I've got stuff I like, and most of it didn't cost very much.

Still nice to know that some of your hard earned goes to a worthy charity, certainly made an element of difference to the flippers on LVC!!
