Beejoir π¬π§ LV Child β’ Imodium β’ Colour of Money, by Deleted on Mar 19, 2008 13:59:26 GMT 1, i heard at the leoanards street gallery they sold 5 of each of the a/ps at Β£500 plus vat so Β£582.50. then i guess they had to refund 4 people on each colour way. i know these prints are going to be more expensive than the normal bargains at sos, but i think they are going to prove very popular.

"this will be the last traditional screen print edition on paper from Beejoir for quite some time."
From Souledoutstudios.

Beejoir π¬π§ LV Child β’ Imodium β’ Colour of Money, by Deleted on Mar 19, 2008 17:38:56 GMT 1, beejoirs work is such that i'd find it amazing if everyone liked eveything he did all time. i love most of his stuff, most of the time. for me blurry mary for me is up there with his best. hopefully the price of this one will put people off buying to resale only. but i have a feeling that it is going to be one of his more popular images and i think in he long run the price will seem very cheep. its my second favorite image of the year so far after SPQRs '5th man'.

Beejoir π¬π§ LV Child β’ Imodium β’ Colour of Money, by pagerage on Mar 19, 2008 17:43:01 GMT 1, so should we expect a seperate edition for each color? kinda lame if thats how it turns out. and the `screenprint` technicality is still completely misleading

no, my understanding is that it is just one colour, light blue.

banksyforum.proboards82.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1205932877 Its only going to be the blue one! Slightly lighter than the one from TLSG! The point of artistproofs is to choose wich colours you want to use!

Beejoir π¬π§ LV Child β’ Imodium β’ Colour of Money, by onemandown72 on Mar 19, 2008 19:39:42 GMT 1, Artist proof, definition from web - AP's quite often are in different colour's for the artist to decide which colour to use, which options to go for
Proofs are prints authorized by the artist in addition to the limited signed and numbered edition. The total size of an art edition consists of the signed and numbered prints plus all outstanding proofs. If a set of proofs consists of more than one print, numbers are inscribed to indicate the number of the prints within the total number of the particular type of proof, (e.g., AP 5/20 means the fifth print in a set of twenty identical prints authorized as artist proofs). Proofs are generally signed by the artist as validation of the prints.
Artist's Proof - Print intended for the artist's personal use. It is common practice to reserve approximately ten percent of an edition as artist's proofs, although this figure can be higher. The artist's proof is sometimes referred to by it's French Γ©preuve d'artist (abbreviation E.A.). Artist's proofs can be distinguished by the abbreviation AP or E.A., commonly on the lower left of the work.

Beejoir π¬π§ LV Child β’ Imodium β’ Colour of Money, by dogant on Mar 19, 2008 19:59:31 GMT 1, so how does that explain A/Ps of the other 4?
The 5 prints on show at TLSG where trail colour prints - Chris (beejoir) had to decide which colour he wanted to run with for the 125 run.
It appears he has chosen the blue - although a lighter shade.
So, I guess on top of the 125 run - Chris will also have some AP's for himself/friends etc.
The 5 prints on show at TLSG are now one offs - so if you got one - good on ya!

Beejoir π¬π§ LV Child β’ Imodium β’ Colour of Money, by pezlow on Mar 19, 2008 21:42:53 GMT 1, Whilst this may not be for everyone good to see Beejoir experimenting with different techniques. These were apparently bloody expensive to make hence the increased price.
And SoS were not misleading at all - they said it was the last TRADITIONAL SCREENPRINT beejoir would be making for a while. It was pretty obvious he was going to be releasing something else.
