There are some other variables such as the color of the poster, etc., but I’d say around $200.00 for a doodled book and the poster. The unsigned posters are going for around $80.00 by themselves and the doodle/signature page (without the book) have been selling for around $100. Together I’d say $200 is probably fair, maybe a little more depending on the color—red posters seem to be a bit more difficult to find these days.

If you want a ballpark just out of curiosity, I think my estimate is solid. If you are asking because you plan on selling, I’d look through past sales on eBay just to confirm what I’m saying before listing yours.

I haven’t seen an autographed copy of the bottle wasp diary but I recently sold anunsigned one for $40, and bought a signed and doodled poster (not a book poster) for about a $100. The pocket diary is a nicer medium, so I’d say minimum of $125 for it. I’d wait a little bit though as he has a print of the cover page of the diary up for auction with Christie’s right now that will likely bring more interest to the diary and temporarily spike the prices. Prices are also likely down a bit across the board with the pandemic and resulting stock market dip.

I was young and did not have money for expensive frame.
I went to a bad framer who glued it at the back of the frame.

i would say one swallow doesnt make a summer but equally they dont come up for sale that often so its difficult to put a price on it. No doubt a seller will say its a bargain but a buyer will opine differently.

These were often known as NHS Blue when talked about around release time.

I think the hammer price was fair at 24K but lets see what the hammer prices are today at Christies
His baby has always been a well liked print
