I'm all for that and I appreciate that "art" differs in meaning to different people. The bit I struggle with is that people are asked to pay for drawings by someone who apparently is not great at drawing or suffers with chronic artheritis in her drawing hand!!! I don't enjoy these observations of hers, because they apparently aren't backed up by any technical ability and hence are a sort of failed attempt at poetry. Are her thoughts alone really worth any more when scribbled on a piece of paper than yours or mine? Are they so inspirational? I don't understand why her work's so popular - although I thoroughly enjoyed Pezlow's explanation of the unmade bed piece in an old thread. While some may find her work evokes an emotional response, I'm left cold every time. I don't think I'm bright enough to get it, so I'll leave it for all you intellectuals out there!

Its not that you don't get it. Its that you do. It's little more than bad basket making. not only is it inarticulate at best its offensive to label any of her visual pratterlings under the banner of art

Yeah I've bought this one. It's quite small so I am sure I can find somewhere for it to go. Of all her drawings I like the scratchy nudes the best. I prefer it to the counter-editions one or the one on her site.

I think they come up at auction occassionaly. No idea of likey cost - maybe around 1k a while ago, maybe less in current economic climate.

Good luck trying to find one.

Last one I saw available was £850. A nice print but there's a long list of work I'd prefer for £850.

sorry, not being a moron but i don't get it.

sometimes i think its about the name on the wall rather than the piece itself but if you enjoy it thats good.

think the new one is a tad vile.
