Liberte Egalite Fraternite just delivered. That's my first artwork by Shepard but i'm quite surprised by the quality.
I had lower expectations for $35.

They will just be signed. The fine art versions will probably be stamped

They are signed with no stamp. Quite a pain to hand sign open editions. Maybe he will move to plate signature in the future.

The piece was very important to me as a symbol of unity during a dark, tragic moment. Seems a bit high for a large edition size and a smaller than large format print. And considering all of us who already bought the open edition adn will continue to in the future, doesnt seem like a good investment.

Maybe the old ones or unic artworks are more asked... But prices then are for millionaires...

I’ve never seen one of his letterpress prints so can’t realiy tell how different they will be from the offset...

I think the letter edition will go around 4000 € on ebay.

Didn't someone mention that there were about a dozen available in Paris? That would mean that there will be still quite a few available... Still there will def be thousands of entries (hell, the Pejac lottery had about a thousand and it was so much harder to enter) so the chances to pick one up are very slim...
