David Choe Artwork, VALUATION, by nigelsg1 on Feb 4, 2020 11:44:14 GMT 1, Good Morning all. I wonder if anyone can help me with some valuations. Hoping they’ve held their value but no real idea. Have seen a couple on eBay but they seen high to me.
I need to sell quite a few pieces to help fund a couple of projects for kids/teenagers. I will start with the David Choe pieces. 1) Driving Home Alone 2)Falling with Grace 3) Triptych 1/50 matching numbers, Loose Lips, Please Lie to me, Watching you waste away.
All never made the wall so unframed and are stored flat. Would like to sell in uk if possible and will consider delivery in person.
Is it okay to post with several artists on a single post or should I do them separately? Hope you can help

Im interested in the triptych, but i am in the US. I watched a no reserve triptych sell last year on ebay for just under/above $1200.
But that seemed like a steal to me, though.
I would guess the other two would sell pretty fast at $700+
I wish choe would put out more work.

David Choe Artwork, VALUATION, by jdchevallier on Aug 16, 2020 17:34:12 GMT 1, I haves a small drawing, 8x10, female nudes that form a daisy chain/circle while fisting. My friend gave it to me ages ago and honestly I put it in a box of other illustrations I’ve collected that idle around waiting for me to frame them. She bought it from a show of his in SF in 2000. His signature and the date is on the back. It’s pen and ink and some sort of gauche or acrylic. Most certainly no print. Since work has slowed for me because of the pandemic it’s forced me to cull through my belongings looking for things to sell. My art is obviously a place where some wealth is hidden, but I’ve never attempted to sell a piece before. This post is the first attempt at finding a value and market for this piece. I see inferior looking prints sell for far more on eBay. I don’t want to sell this on eBay. Any guidance? Thanks.

David Choe Artwork, VALUATION, by jdchevallier on Aug 18, 2020 1:58:40 GMT 1, This a mix media (ink and paint) on paper piece David Choe did in 2000. A friend of mine bought this at a show and gave it to me a few years ago. It’s been in a box of other art I intended to one day frame and hang in my apartment in SF. The pandemic has made me comb through my belongings looking for objects where some wealth may be hidden, to sell and help sustain myself for a while. His signature is on the back in pencil. This isn’t a print. The paper is a bit buckled. This was my first stop in an effort to figure out what it might be worth, and where I could potentially sell it. Any help is appreciated.

David Choe Artwork, VALUATION, by prisonsoap on Nov 4, 2020 23:00:27 GMT 1, Heritage Auctions just completed a David Choe Tokyo Girl 17x17 edition. Shocked, this thing sold for $2,750. He's been out of the limelight for a while. Didn't know there was still so much demand for his pieces. I thought this would go for around $1K.

David Choe Artwork, VALUATION, by R0B on May 2, 2021 20:43:15 GMT 1, Anyone know what sort of value in David Choe these days? I have the classic City Girl 150 edition that I’ve loved for over 10 years and will move along.

David Choe Artwork, VALUATION, by headler on Aug 23, 2021 19:58:43 GMT 1, I have a David Choe 24 × 18 in Yellow Armour print that's signed - No. 61/111. I'm thinking of selling it but can't find any comparables online. It's in pretty good shape and never framed, although the authentication card from Trapeze Prints has a bit of a bend, as does one edge on the print but otherwise in great shape. Any ideas on what it's worth? And where is the best place to sell it?
