I'd say just as impressive as BOTI. The difference here is there is not the daily rush to find the daily Banksy piece. But there will be the hype around tickets. Tomorrow will be or prime example of how HUGE this show is. In overall execution, this is up there as one of Banksy's best shows.

Controlled? Majority of the artists in the show are gallery artists and not street artists.

I'd say just as impressive as BOTI. The difference here is there is not the daily rush to find the daily Banksy piece. But there will be the hype around tickets into Dismaland. Tomorrow will be a prime example of how HUGE this show is. In overall execution, this is up there as one of Banksy's best shows.

This should be called dismaland, better in than out.

Conceptually this is far bigger than just a street art show. Its a very well curated experience, and showcases a ton of amazing known and unknown artists, but most importantly, he's using his power to bring tourism and dollars to a town he loves and visited as a kid. They literally warned the town to get ready for a lot of people to come through, it's going to do a lot of good. Thats much bigger and more important than a rat race in NYC.

Totally agree with above comment about boosting area. Went to WSM as a kid and whilst it was never Britain's best loved beach, it was popular enough for holidays and day trips in 90s. Tropicana, the site this is on, closed as a water ride park in 2000 and think it has been downhill since then in terms of tourism. Banksy will give whole town a lift, it is a brilliant gesture. Makes me love him even more.

If this is controlled, then you must hate bricks and morter galleries. New art and many artists, interactive installations and a venue for thevwekends.. I can't see what's not to like.
