What do you think? I think it's ugly! 🤨 I'm mean it's looks actually pretty small, and the basic design of it looks more like a scaled down boring passenger ferry. Then the Koons design over it makes it look like some sort of camouflage warship 😆
He would have been much better getting Cleon Peterson to do it.

This is a strange story. It happened on the VIP opening day so it wasn't any old riff-raff that just walked in off the street. I find it extraordinary that they did not know about the "Do Not Touch" rule. And it must have been one hefty poke for it to land on the floor. They're not exactly light things, I imagine. All very odd.

Want to get global press without having anything to actually say?  Just get someone at your private view to smash a Jeff Koons sculpture, take photo's and voila... it's insured so it's not like its going to cost anyone anything.

How / where do these places get insurance? And what’s best for insuring for an individual? Do people just add to their contents insurance or do something else?

the amount of press over a stupid koons edition is insane. Who cares, it was insured,s**t happens. They sell these at Neiman Marcus department stores. Just ridiculous and overblown like it was a 1 of a kind piece never again to be seen.

Make sure your insurance covers replacement cost not repair or replacement as determined by the insurance company. I use Chubb in the states because they cover full replacement.
