GraffitiPrints has just opened MAU MAU’s new solo show in Margate.

“The Art Of Trespass” is running through September 24th, presenting new works from British urban graffiti artist Mau Mau, who keeps on exploring impressionism with his signature red fox character. Classics and installation are also featured.

Location: 13-14 Churchfield Place, Margate (Kent, UK)

Available Works from the exhibition will go online this Sunday at 5pm BST, you can already check them on our website: graffitiprints.com/collections/show-works

+ Show Prints, "If U Stand For Nothing U Fall For Anything" will be released next Thursday 31st August 5pm BST. It's the first print we have ever made in analog only! No digital at all in the process.
The release will also include a reworking of the classic "Where The Woods Was" in a small giclée print at £60, as an original is hung in the solo show

Thanks for sharing that video, I'm unashamedly a huge fan of his, and he is such a great guy. His art has always provided something for everyone, and even today, he has maintained pricing that allows entry to his work at all levels.

I managed to tick off one original featured, and probably others if truth be told, as well as seeing my self at the WestBank show. Ahh.. great times.

Westbank did put on some great shows back in the day when they first opened.

Mau Mau's long time coming book, 'Talking out of my Art' has just been released on Velocity Press.... for more info....

The artist Mau Mau has a body of work which stretches back to the 1990s. His street art has chronicled the evolving nature of UK counter-culture and larger world themes which have impacted it. Aside from walls, barns, boats and an array of other interesting places to paint, his work has appeared on prints, canvases, magazines, clothing and record covers and in exhibition spaces for over 25 years.



Talking Out of My Art is a chronological journey through Mau Mau’s artwork and features high-quality, full-colour photos of his most iconic artworks and an in-depth exploration of his life, influences, and artistic journey. Scroll down the page for an eight page preview.



The book is 245mm x 245mm, and the 240 pages are printed and bound on heavyweight 150gsm paper with a hardback cover. It’s due for release on 12 April 2024 but but it’s exclusively available to buy now in the Velocity Press shop.

I think the book has been mentioned in the wonderful Books Thread - which I can't seem to find anymore at the moment (hope it's not been deleted 🙈) - but the Mau Mau book definitely deserves its own thread!

Agree ! And the editor is charming, very helpful. I got my signed one too, in few days. And the surprise is that this book has a real quality, top photos and book itself !! Very happpy !

Great book MAU MAU has been one of my favorite artists for quite a while now. MAU is a top-notch person who is always a pleasure to chat with along with the whole crew at Souled Out Studios. I ordered this back in NOV pre-order edition came signed with a hand-sprayed stencil, was a bargain, and shipped earlier than the main edition. I am very happy with the quality the amount of pictures and the price.

I’m not very happy ! Is it the editor that signed it ? All have a stencil but not me, the signature is great with the stencil : it’s all black and I’m very disappointed! I paid the same money as others … Can’t understand really !

I'm going to take a guess that two pages were stuck together.  There is zero chance Mau would have skipped one.  You might want to email Souled Out Studios.

This is the mail that I received, some got them with stencils, some others not. As this everybody will know about :

«Sorry that you feel that way but it took Mau Mau a long time to sign them with the stencil so he only did a limited amount and the rest with just his signature. It was never advertised that there would be a stencil, just that it would be signed which it was »
