The most sought after Warhol print would be the Marilyn series (10 different prints signed and numbered to 250 each for a total of 2,500). At their high the two or 3 most desirable from the edition were commanding $200-$250k US each. They are trading between $50 and $150k now depending upon which one of the 10 you're looking for and the condition.

There are a few trial proofs and a number of unique prints on hand made paper that command even more such as self portraits & Marilyn reversals.

I wouldn't call either one cheap. Volume plays a very important role here too as there are over 100k signed Warhol prints and what, (total guess) maybe 3k signed Banksy prints? imho, the vast majority of the warhol print output is awful compared with his canvases which is strange given they are all mostly silkscreens. I like his electric chairs, both prints and cavases and the former can be had relatively cheaply. I certainly wouldn't buy the Warhol as a value proposition because of a comparable Banksy. If you have honestly been considering multiple Marilyn's then you are in a position that you can afford to be wrong anyway. good luck

£26.5k BIN seems like a reasonable price for what must be the Holy Grail of Banksy prints and given the scarcity and desirability of this piece, it certainly seems like a better investment than the £20k that someone is trying to sell the Di-faced Tenners for. Can't see this hanging around for long.

Never got this print, I don't understand how a print that doesn't really look like a "Banksy" is the holy grail for Banksy fans. I'd much rather have Rader Rat, LIITA, Bomb Hugger, Soup Can etc. Or I'd just buy a real Warhol Print, you could maybe even get a MAO for this price, although this is scarcer.

Although I love the image.... I've seen a couple of these in the flesh.....and they really don't look like they are worth £26k...print looks a little cheap and the colours are just not vibrant enough.

Best place for it a proper auction. I love the fact the seller said cash on collection was fine. So someone is going to turn up with over £26k in cash and your then going to count it out on the kitchen table I've seen Kate's in the flesh and there "ok", but its a lot of money for a print and not far of the price of some small Banksy OG's

My favourite banksy along with CWSB. I'm pretty sure that if you really liked this print you will have it in the back of your mind that they once sold for c. £96k so this could be a good chance to get hold of one at a comparatively reasonable price.

Strange how people see things differently, they're two of the most disappointing Banksy prints for me - CWSB especially, I remember how underwhelmed I was when I first saw it...

I don't quite understand the appeal of one of these but I certainly would not spend 25K on it. There are many many great original works by others that you can acquire with 25K.

By the way, there is one of these in the upcoming Sotheby's, estimated between 25K and 35k.
