I know I will regret this sale.  I am offering this dran original with funds going towards banksy hopefully.

Lovely image, classic DRAN, always seen it as a 'mini original chalks'.  Nice use of colour, fun image.  About 4 times the size of a jours.

I think it was streetartnews who took the image when I posted it as a 'top pick up' and put it on their blog for new years eve just gone. 

It has been float mounted on museum board and framed under museum glass.

PM offers if you're interested.  I may be in London on Thursday for vna, etc so cash welcome.

If it doesn't go, I'll happily keep it on my wall.

As mentioned to people who asked: jours 1/4 size without signature and often no colour are selling at 1000-1500,  stopski had mixed media Size of jours for 2.5, subueun gallery draws have sold for 3-4k. 

I'm not further debating prices with those that don't know or are bitter or who's offer I rejected (above).

You are delusional if you think you are getting anywhere near a Trolleys for this. There is a huge difference between works intended to be sold as originals (100 jours) and a dedicated doodle cut out of a book and framed. If I were in your shoes, I'd take the £1,600 and run. It's a ridiculously generous offer for this piece.

These things are always difficult / impossible to put a price on - If this is priced too high it won't move and the OP will be adjusting their price.....if it goes this evening then everyone will know where Dran pricing currently sits

Comment on the piece, artist and even the seller but don't just rubbish pricing because you personally don't agree - the way to go there is to raise a price check thread and debate it that way

Which jours have been selling for £1-1.5k? I seem to remember them coming available like buses about 6 months ago and selling nowhere near that.

Though I will say I feel this image is much stronger and I would defo be in the camp of would love to own.

Also @ 4k you're not too far from a small canvas I would rather raise the extra 2-3k and buy a non dedicated original canvas withall the extra hard work and finishing rather a glorified doodle. Sorry if that comes off bad. PS I have not enquired about this item and I'm not in running/ bitter. I personally think 4k is wishful thinking but if you get near it then kudos to you!

I only posted because I felt he was being deceptive. He purposely ignored my question so he wouldn't have clarify exactly what he is selling. To me, selling this as a "Dran Original" is a bit of a stretch. It's a dedicated doodle that has been chopped out of a book.

The jours have sold at this price privately.
I wouldn't class it anywhere near a 'glorified doodle'. It's an actual drawing. 
I haven't mentioned firm prices - I am asking offers based on the aforementioned prices. 
Good luck if you can find a decent and wall friendly canvas for your speculated price. ..decent ones are 10k or more

It should be the size of I love the world book (or one of the other) so definitely smaller than A4.


chads007: no bitter at all. Just stating a fact: it was bought at less than 10% of your asking price less than 1 year ago. I believe that the market will decide the value, so the price might well be justified. Personally, I would not have asked that much just because with 4k you can easily buy one of the better I have chalks. It is a good news for me if this goes for so high, because it means that I can buy a porsche with my Drans  :-)
