MOBSTR AND DR D DISCUSS, by dibbs45 on May 4, 2015 11:34:05 GMT 1, I thought I'd open a discussion on Mobstr and Dr D who both put up subversive and provocative messages around London and elsewhere. Both appear out of nowhere and both remind us how society is changing in front of our eyes. The messages are often not offensive or subliminal but an opinion the some people share.

(naturally would be i suppose) with more of a riff on royalty, drugs and civil disobedience. wheras mobstr's work is more philosophical and based in problematising (post)modern life and consumerism. whatever it is, it's a fine line between them. (fwiw i like them both but mobstr's work shades it for me).
afterthought - all of this work pi**es all over someone like oh, i don't know, jj adams (and mr brainwash).

More a thought or an idea, whereas Dr D is manipulating already established signs and subverting the message. The latter we could bring in Clet Abraham into the fold.
