At the end of the day it's another medium of art. Some might say the same about stencils (not me just sayin!). I don't care how a piece is created if at the end of the day I like the end product I'll buy it. I do care when it comes to pricing though. Whilst I appreciate some of the works might take time to create I can't get myself to press buy at those prices when it's come out of an inkjet printer. I create pieces in photoshop as I enjoy doing so but I don't try and sell them for those crazy prices. Anyway I'm sure he's reading this and wiping his tears with Β£50 notes.
Here's my latest homage.

It loos like Nick did his first x-ray image in 07. From his website, there's no work from JJ at all before 2011. So while you're right, it's not always clear, but this time it seems to be.

Looks dreadful. Even the photoshop skills look amateurish. Not that I'm boasting, but I can probably fare better in this if I spend some time on it. Ha! The light fall on some of the faces look so wrong.

I even like the fact he calls them commissions to cover the fact that it might have been someone elses idea and that he is constantly having to release stuff to make money! he may have made a few quid but what a sell out! |

It has been a busy year for celebrity deaths though so some artists are rushing their works. Perhaps try to plan in advance. I have Justin Beiber prints in archive ready for release. |
