Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by helloexactly on Jun 20, 2015 1:56:36 GMT 1, Hey everyone,
I was wondering if you guys could help me. I have a Pulp Fiction unsigned however the is a dent to the left of Travolta's gun. Sombody told me that a lot of those prints have that make but I'm not buying it. Can anyone confirm / deny? What would value be with the damage?
Thanks!

What would value be with the damage? Thanks! Great print BTW. Yes, leaving the "dent" would impact value as most would use it as a bargaining chip for a discount and rightly so as you can't expect to get market price for a "damaged" print. Not sure where you are located but I would bet this dent is 100% reversible and if you are in the states or UK, I can refer you to some brilliant top restoration people. Absolutely worth at the most a few hundred $ to fix. Hope that helps. Feel free to PM for references.

Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by 31walker on Jun 21, 2015 8:07:27 GMT 1, Hi, we were thinking about selling our beloved signed bme, we bought it around 2002. I need to get pest control on it but I was wondering roughly how much it would be worth afterwards? It's currently framed but I will need to access print to send pics off to PC. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There is a signed LIITA on eBay for 35,000 US - I don't know the seller and cannot vouch for it, but in my opinion far better image (as well as more valuable/classic). £30k - sheesh!!

Around £20k from gallery and not that much less than that private methinks, sourcing one privately will be difficult.Hangup have one just now and Eddie Locke did have one earlier in the year but not sure if he still does.

I bought one from a forum member in march this year for £4650 but a few weeks later they were selling for £5k. In excess of £5k now private would be my thoughts.

Banksy Artwork, VALUATION, by Deleted on Jul 8, 2015 16:59:38 GMT 1, Hey all,
Full time follower and part time poster here. My home contents insurance is up for renewal and I currently only have £2500 specified for my art print which is a unsigned Rudecopper (which i hasten to add isn't for sale - sorry guys!) I've trawled these boards and various other boards trying to find a reasonable bracket to price it at but as they seem to become available very rarely these days it's hard to tell what the markets doing. I was thinking of insuring it for somewhere between £5-8k. Do you think that seems like a reasonable assessment of current prices?
Any help will be much appreciated!
EDIT****Just found this thread:
urbanartassociation.com/thread/125839/rude-copper-price-chk-unsigned
Apologies!!!

I changed home and contents insurer a few years back and they sent an assessor out to review.. I was explaining to him what id paid for various prints and what i think i might be able to replace them for. He told me to insure for a price that i knew i could secure them on secondary market should i ever need to.
As such you should insure for how much you would need to pay to secure a replacement without much haggling and £5-8k is too low. I would say insure for at least £10k this year and review it annually, it'll only cost you a few quid more on your premium to insure for £10k as opposed to £8k.
