I'll post a Pic when I get it on the wall.
Thinking about it; any advice on framing or would it be best not framed? This is my first 'print on wood'!

Possibly a daft question; so what's the best way to keep the print clean if it's not mounted behind UV glass etc.? I've got young kids, so I'm a bit concerned about possible damage and build up of dust etc.

I was thinking of sitting it behind a sheet of Perspex on Perspex pegs covered in velvet to protect the wood & not put indentations in it?
What do you think or anyone got any suggestions for those of us that will want to protect it?
Thanks in advance

As to why it varies - it depends partly on what the seller writes (how the art is described, and the value thay assign to it). The rest of the time (all too often), the people handling the import simply get it wrong. If this happens, and you persist, you can usually get a refund!

I think it's described as a Fine art wood print on 3/4" sustainable Birch wood, bright white finish. Hand signed and numbered. If you persist and word things correctly you should be fine. Somewhere in that older thread there's wording I used previously.......

Nick Walker print on wood on sale 4/3/15 at Noon (PST), by randomname on Apr 29, 2015 17:14:18 GMT 1, Can't understand the attitude to digital print on this forum. I love screen print but sometimes a piece of art translates better to print if it's done digitally. No better or worse, just different. Some of the best prints I have are digital, inkjets, giclees and sometimes a mixture. I would guess if a row of prints was produced using a mixture of print techniques most people would struggle to identify which was which, me included. I strongly believe that the best medium to the stencil artists is screen prints. Secondly You could buy Nick Walker canvas for 3quid from his last exhibition in France. Finally The shipping costs to the Europe are very high 300$ + 20/100*1300 ;p taxes. PS. For these people who are paid in other currency then $ i have one more argument ;P right? Personally, I think the best medium for this would have been hand-painted multiples. In this case, spray painted stencils. It would have been more work than an inkjet, of course. But the end product would have essentially been an original in terms of quality.
That said, it sold out. So he found the right balance of cost and quality.

I've got young kids, so I'm a bit concerned about possible damage and build up of dust etc. I have a few wood pieces. Dust hasn't been an issue. If you need to, I would lightly wipe it with a clean, dry microfiber towel. As far as young kids go, that could be an issue. My framer would charge about as much for a frame as the art cost, so personally I would ask them nicely not to destroy it and take my chances.

I'm getting all confused on how to describe the print or if its even eligible for a refund, does it fall under this category?
Original engravings, prints and lithographs, being impressions produced in limited numbers directly in black and white or in colour of one or several plates executed entirely by hand by the artist, irrespective of the process or of the material employed by him, but not including any mechanical or photomechanical process (Tariff code 9702 00 00)

Nick Walker print on wood on sale 4/3/15 at Noon (PST), by 11 on Apr 30, 2015 12:38:02 GMT 1, They've coded it wrong and charged the incorrect amount of VAT. You should be able to challenge it successfully.......... Should it be reduced VAT (5%) for a 'digital' print?
Will get the refund form filled out tomorrow when it gets delivered.
Mine just arrived (UK) - and had to pay UPS Β£52 on the door-step - which is probably still a bit over what it should be
Some serious packaging on it too :-
But looks lovely
