... this is my 1st photo-print of any kind & agree the quality is top notch (at least to me). The catalogues, as mentioned are also really nice.

.. did anyone spot the error in the cat. where the say the MC print is Ed100. The photo of the print even shows it /75

Not the greatest packing I have to say, but mine despite looking battered on the outside was minty fresh when I opened it.

Unpacked this today which is my first Martha....


I'm quite pleased with it - would have been better if she had got the fella spraying it

The little book that came with it was also a great little snapshot of her work over time



... with some real nice shots of the early Graff scene on the subways...and it just reignited that need for a nice vintage piece from the 80's or even 70's of the Bronx or subway

I don't know what pricing is like but if you have a low edition c-type, or even better, a pre-digital photo or Polaroid then hit me up with some pics and an expectation of price - maybe trade options too

Someone wanna post a high-res photo of theirs? I understand Martha Cooper is a legend; just don't find this photograph particularly appealing, despite the Banksy presence. Maybe the print looks better photographed by one of you.

And no, this isn't to print a high-res version like someone just posted/deleted (I thought I was cynical); I mean an in-situ photo, not a scan.

I can't put high resolution photo but I can confirm it looks really nice in real, but that's my opinion

It's a great print. Seems to be changing hands for crazy money - last one on eBay £1000. I'm sure you'll find a high res if you do a google image search

Yeah, I don't really get the excitement. Oh well, weirder things have happened.

Remember being here a month or two ago when it went up and I passed pretty quickly, even after refamiliarizing myself with Cooper. Just don't like the photo I suppose, clearly a subjective opinion.

IMO hard to classify printing a picture of a picture of someone else's wall piece "art". She's actually a photo journalist according to her own profile which is in fact presenting of news material that employs images in order to tell a news story, which she often does well and not taking anything away from her accomplishments. Don't really see a story being told here either as the image itself is really no different than the other many thousands that were taken.  In fact it's one of my least favorite I would choose to represent what Banksy did there if I were to choose to have a photo of BOTI or that particular piece at all. Seems if one were a huge fan of hers and just likes having the signature, there would be some value there. Other than that I just don't get it even at it's original 125 euros but at £1000 pounds it's all starting to make sense.
