Are the ap’s all the same - pink background?

I like the pink face one but not sure if it’s part of this AP series

How do you not know the edition size??

When this print was released Banksy’s modus operandi was far more haphazard. It wasn’t necessarily a case of defined edition numbers but more print some, sign the ones that have been sold online as signed and then sell the rest unsigned. This resulted in unknown/complicated editions sizes. Pest Control has tightened things up a lot but there still continues to be uncertainty around the final edition sizes of a number of his early releases.

Steve Lazarides describes running up and down the stairs of an early Santa’s Ghetto getting Banksy to spray paint and sign work to suit the demand of punters. Who knows what’s out there!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that a lot of Banksy APs were produced long after the main edition.

For example the Toxic Mary colourways from Bethlehem late 2007 (were the FCs from Bethlehem too?), all the APs that Laz suddenly had available around maybe 2007 and last, but not least the GWRB colourway APs from Dismaland. And maybe more as these are just from the top of my head.

I seriously believe these were done years later (from the main editions). And probably with new screens as I don't believe it's customary to store silk screen screens, but rather reuse them.

Edit: And therefore the edition sizes are not unknown or uncertain and sales should be catalogued with buyers names)
