Banksy in Gaza β’ 2015 π΅πΈ, by met on Mar 14, 2015 10:34:25 GMT 1, βblasphemous attack on Jewish cultureβ "An Israeli judge has issued an international arrest warrant hours after the piece of vandalism was discovered on a segment of the walls surrounding the area of the Temple Mount (Har Habayit), which is the holiest site in Judaism and is the place to which Jews turn during prayer." "If prosecuted, Banksy will face charges of βcrime against the Jewish peopleβ which is liable to imprisonment for a term of five years, according to Israeli laws." Bombing sites and killing people is alright? But paint bombing the place and helping the people is punishable with 5 years in jail?..... Wait whut?! Serious???.. How it is possible that people all over the world take this man serious?
Look at the source.
Its target audience is people who take what they read on the internet at face value. Question everything to reduce the chances of being fooled.
World News Daily Report is a spoof site. Like The Onion, but far less intelligent.

Banksy in Gaza β’ 2015 π΅πΈ, by Dr Plip on Mar 14, 2015 12:07:56 GMT 1, National Enquirer-type site or not, I'm actually more disturbed that someone would make that article up and post it online. There's enough hate, lies and anger in the world already, without making new s**t up.
And what the fuck?
worldnewsdailyreport.com/canada-man-suffers-heart-attack-is-eaten-alive-by-swarm-of-pigeons/
" βThis is the first time such a case is reported in Toronto, but such situations have already occurred in major centers such as New York and London, so we must remain vigilantβ ensures a Toronto city spokesman.
More than 40 people fall prey to deadly pigeon attacks each year in North America alone. "
They're having a go at the birds now!!

I don't see anything racist or antisemitic in that cartoon stencil.
Racism only applies to some and not others it seems.
What is the difference between racism and anti semitism ?

Banksy in Gaza β’ 2015 π΅πΈ, by Dr Plip on Mar 15, 2015 16:31:26 GMT 1, and some people still believe that we are the only intelligent life in the universe and that there is no more advanced technology than our technology. Believe what you like, but as upsetting as it may be, in the entire Universe, we're probably the only form of life that's created the pasty.
Dinosaurs were around for millions of years, and Paleontologists have discovered many fossilised species. But they have yet to dig up the remains of a pasty shop.
Keeping in mind, the vast number of biological flukes that have had to occur so that humans can come about, along with the vast number of random space horrors that can wipe out life at any given moment, there's a very real possibility that human beings (and their pasties) are as advanced as life gets in the entire Universe.
I'm more concerned by the thought that we might be living in the very best of times right now. It might never be any better than this.

Banksy in Gaza β’ 2015 π΅πΈ, by Dr Plip on Apr 1, 2015 8:18:56 GMT 1, Yeah
I was not expecting a local to buy it for so little though. Thought that bankjobber fella might have gone in with a crack team.
Interesting comment at the end of the article:
"Banksy's representative has contacted them to say the artist believes the picture should be returned."

I think that is beyond ambitious given the absence of COA. The potential pool of buyers is minimized without paperwork and it's not like the street works are flying off the shelves. Gorgeous painting in situ but circumstances make for a difficult sale.

I think Banksy is already somewhere, in the war-affected areas. He has already crossed the border, probably coming from the Syrian side. We will definitely have news in a few days.
Just one message for Banksy: You have great courage!... But keep your eyes open because it's very dangerous!... And in here we respect you and we all love you! ππ
May events protect you on the long road. πππ
