Β 1 Nobody would even know blek did some stencils if it wasn't for Banksy putting him in the spotlight , same as Robbo who was unheard of outside a london borough until Banksy tidied up an old forgotten piece. 2. as Dran - not the same style - would be just another French comic illustrator drawer ( as said we have a lot here ) if Banksy did not invite him in Pow December shows.
Same for Lush ? I donβt think so - even if they met together during Melbourne trip ) - as the guy gave strong character and paint.
Wh should not forgot that Banksy has promoted a lot of artists ! And his choice and point of view exceptional and clever ( Evol is one of the best, Pow made a show, but this artist never have the consecration tgat he should have ... I was one of his first collector ).
And now, after Bleck, what do you think of RenΓ© Gagnon telling the world that Banksy is a copycat of Forgive us our trespassing :-))
And for the last one : who do you think of Kunstrasen that has the honor of collectors and critics ? ( not my cup of tee anyway )
