I am so angry right now that only the joy of an England penalty win is glossing over my sadness...
Contacted the gallery and crappy fedex but all i really want is an Arsham piece..in one piece!!
Still - penalty win in my lifetime - woohoo!! oh and anyone selling one of these in the UK let me know..assuming Fedex sort the insurance ASAP!

I received my Hourglass from Fedex and after opening the outer box, could hear that the glass had shattered, another tell-tale was the box was covered in fine sand!
I have tried emailing info@danielarsham as suggested on their website support section but am yet to hear a peep out of them! I have also tried meghan@ but no luck there either.
Fedex stated the package was not suitable for air transportation and seem to want nothing to do with it, which is pretty crap as I am sure some folks in the UK went for one of these and it arrived intact...Bren...are you UK / outside the U.S based?
Wondering if there is a telephone number I can try for Arsham studios of if I should continue to be patient ( emailed from the 3rd July ), in the assumption Arsham will come good and sort me out?

I found a telephone number for Arsham Studios on the Fed Ex Import Tax document which arrived a week later and gave them a call. Turns out there were quite a few claims for them to process due to damaged shipments overseas and were struggling to get around to everyone!
The end result is they are on the case and were really cool. Fedex will be picking up the damaged piece - which is a shame because I was going to find a way to display the relic camera within 
Fed Ex have waived the import tax so hope to get a refund or they did say they would try and ship me another if there were spares, failing that they'll let me jump the queue for the next release scheduled for the Autumn.
Final note, thanks to Bren and Expresspost who responded. It's nice to see amidst some of the garbage that gets written on here that members still help each other out...one of the reasons I joined this forum 12 years ago

I completely agree, this really didn't interest me, but seeing the progression throughout 3 would make a nice display. Fun to take the cracked one out, let someone else squeeze it. Nice interactive piece, but would want to see the progression when displaying. |
