CONDITION:
+ Piece is Mint. Never handled.
+ Box was stored in glass vitrine, got sun yellowing on box due to that. Lid hinge ripped along seam about 1/3 of its length.  IMHO, NOT Important, but want to be clear. See photos.

Why are all the Invader photos deleted, many many Daniel Arsham photos uploaded, and yet an old deleted Invader photo remains as the thumbnail in the thread chain?

Haven't had a chance to open it yet. I suspect it is the gift that Arsham referenced in an email that I assumed was sent to folks who purchased Future Relic 09 and some prior ones.

Did you take pics of your relics and email the excavation crew, and then receive this book?  i never got around to emailing my photo and wonder if i missed out.  Also, rumor has it there is a 10th relic in the book?

I don't like this guy but the concept is cool. I think something other than the camera would have been better..... hey Pejac a hour glass with oil covering the world/humanity/the forrest or something would be cool.

"HOURGLASS is a sculpture made with glass, sand, and two cast objects. As you turn the hourglass, one object is revealed while the other is covered by the sand. The two cast objects within the edition are a specimen of pyrite crystal, and a miniature camera. HOURGLASS is 9.6" in height with a diameter of 4.5". It has a run-time of approximately 30 minutes. HOURGLASS is a time-keeping device that has been manufactured to the specifications of Arsham Studio. HOURGLASS comes in a studio designed housing with a semi-translucent sleeve, die-cut foam, sealing label, and a pair of white art handling gloves.
This is an edition of 500 pieces, and each HOURGLASS includes a holographic label verifying its edition number and authenticity."
