Edition size is typically 500.

Edition size says 500 and his last piece I think was $500. This new piece is large I would think closer to or $1,000 for it. Always liked seeing his work but never bought, how are these in person?

I don't understand why people would even suggest higher prices. The suggestions might convince the artists to actually go with those prices. I hope he keeps with the $500 price as in the most recent releases and keeps it affordable.

that's true and if he pushes the envelope with the pricing then he will turn off a lot of collectors. he already has been increasing the edition sizes and prices, he bumped the edition size from 400 to 500 after the alarm clock and bumped the price up to $500 for the cassette player from the previous two relics, telephone and polaroid camera, which were $450. Charging more than $550-600 for this would be a bad move, especially when you consider that shipping charges will be a lot more due to the size and weight.

well the price is $850. shipping is only about $20 for me but i'm only 30 minutes away from where he is.

it's a cool piece but i think $850 is way to much for it, especially with an edition size of 500.

These are so generic now. I wouldn't mind a relic that was pink like the bugs bunny he showed recently this size. I think it would be much more displayable. Looks like they're sitting around at 850, and these don't flip well, so it looks like people who actually want this one should have no issue picking it up.

No one suggested the price, estimated based on what he has sold his previous pieces for and given the size and detail of this piece. I would not pay $100 or his work, though cool not my style. But some will and they will love it. But the artist sets the price based on their efforts, material and demand. He must have thought enough people would buy it to set that price, or he is full of himself.
