Everyone knows, and has known, that there are loads of these out there. I don’t think anyone buying thinks it will be a numbered edition. Could Laz have 1000+ of these? Sure. Would he sign 1000+ COAs? Maybe. Has that ambiguity stopped the hype on the recent Soup Cans posters, or Petrol Bomb, or (now) Monkey Parliament? I don’t think so.
As others have said, some collectors that have always wanted a tenner but been hesitant to spend a few hundred on a possible fake will be happy with the prov in these.

I don’t care about your $1500 print job, or the artist being aware, or the artist getting some promotion. If you release an edition of 100 prints you should not have the liberty of releasing more of the edition later, end of story.

BNG didn’t release more later, Haven’t even worked with the said artist again. The artist himself chose to make another run and different size versions of the same image, not BNG. Shang has gone the Tim Doyle route on his own.

yea have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. After it was all printed, nothing was printed after and thats never been an issue with anyone in that circle. Just a reminder, this was 3 years ago when those prints were printed by our printer.

Oh haha yea just like before it was miscommunication. Two different situations.
The one you’re referring too was a print that had been stuck to another print after was sprayed on. We just assumed it was good and didn’t see that it wasn’t numbered. That was definitely a mistake and our fault. Wasn’t rereleased or anything like that. The previous post also said he could see where it was stuck.

I think very few were given out, and probably the people who were keen enough to be there on the first day aren’t the types to resell.
They’re not unlimited, but there’s a lot out there... just not many that can be proved to be real.
