So did you buy it from Stella? - I just don't see the link between the two threads other than Stella was selling one in 2007 and you are selling one now.

Whilst pow / Laz may not issue a coa do you have provenance to show how it got from the ex-POW employee to you? That's what i'd be looking for

Yes i purchased it from stella - have all the emails confirming this, plus the original Special Delivery Envelope she sent it to me in.....

Appreciate im potentially opening up a can of worms as they dont come with COA etc but I definitely dont want to buy one off ebay as there are so many for sale the chances are many are fakes. Also not sure what the going rate is but happy to discuss.

Looking for 1 or 2 Banksy Di Faced 10er's (depending on cost) i see there is loads on ebay but i also know there is alot of fakes about so i was hoping someone here will have some real ones lying around which they may be interested in selling.

I would consider framed and loose notes.

Hi ASH,

IMO, never, ever buy a tenner off eBay. Every one I've purchased off there has been a fake. I'd only purchase one from a trusted member on here.

Best way to tell a fake is to ask for an extremely high res. scan, post it on here, and let someone with a real one compare the two

Yea thats why i was hoping to get one from a Trusted member, they are all over ebay but i dont want to risk it TBH.

The way to spot a fake. Is the same way you spot a legal tender fake bank note isn't it?

Check the foil strip, hologram serial numbers

I went through the process of trying to pick up a tenner from eBay and gave up. Seems like all fakes on there now. I've created a thread with some comparisons, hope this helps:

Thanks for that, looks like ill need to have one in hand before i can really tell if they are real or not then!

Maybe i won't pursue trying to find some, as i can see it being hard work trying to find a pair of real deal 10ers and not getting my fingers burnt.
I also don’t fancy having debate with the seller regarding the authenticity when money has exchanged hands!

I'm sure a handful have been signed, but if you see a signed one for sale, it's almost definitely fake.

Don't buy one from eBay..signed or unsigned. too many fakes floating around
